Easy to set up
Easy to hook up but it does not follow conventional color code. The red wires are the hot lead and the black is the neutral or what’s normally a white wire. It’s marked properly on the case, but it would have been more straightforward if they’d have used red and white or black and white wires. The ap is easy to load and get working.

Great wifi relays!
These wifi control switches were easy to set up for wifi control, in my case they’re going to add cell phone control for up/down function of my wheelchair lift on the back of my house! These were a plesent change compared to other wifi relays I tried (SHELLY) that I had to return because of unreliable control & setup issues!!

Very good but got disconnected occasionally
This is an extremely useful alternative to smart lightbulbs, especially if you have lamps with multiple lightbulbs. The only issue I have encountered is that for some reason it has the tendency to disconnect from the wifi from time to time. After multiple headaches mounting and unmounting the lamp to fix this, I found out recently that turning on and off the lamp from the origina switch do the reconnection trick. I hope this helps someone.

This thing is huge
Works as expected, on a test bench because I wanted to set it up before installing. Set up was flawless, no worries. However, this thing is huge. I was hoping to install inside and in the back of box with switch still usable. It’s too big for that.

Great for covered outdoors
Works great! I’m using it inside a metal box on an exterior condition and the response is immediate even though it’s far from the router. I like that it’s tough built so it withstands diverse environments.

Don’t buy for the WiFi
Well where to start. These have the WiFi connectivity of an old school dial up modem. If you plan to install these in a wall, don’t. They connect for about 10 hours then will deep connection and you have to reset them and go through the process all over again. The only good thing about them is they stay connected to Bluetooth. Don’t buy them if you want to make anything smart because Alexa will just tell you it is offline. Oh and they are huge and not easy to hide. I don’t really want to hide them but if you use them to control lights or something you will have something big and ugly for all to see.

I have LED floodlights in back of my house that had to be hardwired and the only way they could be switched off was to put a switch in the attic. That was very inconvenient. I decided to try this and was amazed. Now if someone is in the back yard at night, the lights come on automatically (light sensor built into lights) but if I want the lights to stay on, I can tell Alexa “Back Yard On” or “Back Yard Off” to control them and make them stay on or off. If lights are off, they will still turn on if they sense motion at night since I wired them in parallel. Have had zero issues.
