An excellent product and superior customer service
After a lot of research, I purchased this about a year ago to handle protection of my multiple computer set up. It works exactly as described. I’ve had a couple of power blips and outages and this unit handled them perfectly. I especially like the video display showing it functioning. Now, about the customer service… they are exemplary. The unit failed for an unknown reason… dropped dead. I contacted customer service. They asked me some questions to help diagnose the cause of the failure and hopefully fix it. But, to no avail. So, they immediately shipped me a new unit. Super polite, professional and a pleasure to work with to solve this issue. Problems can happen with all equipment … the key is how the problem is handled. Top notch. When/if I need another UPS, I will buy their latest product.

Perfect UPS for SMALL electronic device networks
I purchased and deployed two of these units:1 in my network closet as a voltage regulator with a battery back up.1 by my FIOS ONT and Wireless Router as a voltage regulator with a battery back up.The UPS units arrived mostly charged, but I gave them 12 hours of “topping off ” before I installed them.Input voltage is 122…as expected. Output on the 2 surge protector outlets is 120; on the 4 battery back up ports it is a raw 105, but in eco mode, it is 117. Everything is working properly. With the input power removed, the internal UPS battery supplies 115 volts (for several hours in my configuration)The purpose of these units is to provide power long enough to save your work and shut down your computeror give you the time to switch your power over to a stand by or back up external power generator. Power supplies for laptops, switches, modems and routers operate between 100-240 volts. This UPS unit operates within those specs.These units should not be used for anything that draws significant amperage, like major appliances, power tools or medical/critical safety equipment.I am happy with these units and have the confidence of knowing the power is being regulated, so I do not need to worry about brown outs and/or power spikes, and I have the time to safely shut down all of my gear in case of a power failure.

Waste of money
Piece of junk, didn’t work when I plugged it in…It didn’t comeWith directions so I plugged it in thinking it may need to charge itself…I literally forgot about it, when I remembered it and checked it again, no charge at all. Time expired to return…don’t wast your money..move on!!! ItLiterally had 2 months to charge and nothing, lmao. Jokes on me I guess

This review is for the Gitroso 1000va, 500W UPS System. I purchased this unit because I needed a compact 1000va UPS system that would fit inside a 16-1/2″ wide networking cabinet. This unit can be seated upright or lay flat on it’s back. I am using it to provide UPS power for an Arris S33 Modem, Arris W31 Router, Linksys Switch, which are all enclosed in a networking cabinet cooled by an AC Infinity Airplate T8 fan system. The Gitroso UPS also provides power to the AC Infinity cooling fan system. After charging the Gitroso UPS for a day, I tested it’s backup capability and found that it ran for about 2 – 1/2 hours, which was better than I expected. The system also has an AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) which acts as the first line of defense against voltage fluctuations. The AVR has Boost and Buck capability. If the voltage in your home drops to say 90 volts in a 120 volt system, the AVR will switch to the boost tap, increasing the voltage to maintain a 120 volt output. Or, if the voltage rises to 140 volts, the AVR will switch to the buck tap, reducing the voltage to keep the output at 120 volts. In the past, I always purchased APC systems, but couldn’t find one that fit into my networking cabinet. This unit fit perfectly and was priced well below the competition. The build quality is excellent and the LCD screen is excellent. No UPS systems in the price range have a color LCD screen. I highly recommend this unit for capability, price and value for your money. Note: the white cubes on the top of the Gitroso UPS are outlet blocks that I bought from Amazon to change the orientation of the outlet. Some of the power plugs on the modems and routers are huge. To get them fit into all the outlets you may need to change the orientation by 45 to 90 degrees. This is an issue with all UPS systems, regardless of name brand.

Edit: This powered my 4 items for 2 hours and 50 minutes before the battery went to 1 bar and beeped. Probably could have gone another 30 minutes or so so honestly 3 hours for my laptop, 24 inch monitor with an ionizer built in and running, my router, and a DP/HDMI/type c dock all in one brick so 4 things plugged in! Give this a thumbs up and ignore the other people that don’t know anything about electronics smh lolI’m definitely satisfied and I would recommend it to anyone. The people who tried to hook a full ATX PC to this probably went over the wattage but I have 4 things plugged up that are about 150 to 180watts total load. 65w laptop, 65w router, and my 24 inch monitor is roughly 20 to 60w (has an air ionizer built into it) and then probably 15 or 30 more watts for my type C and USB dock with DP and HDMI.Running all 4 things perfectly fine! My entire “work” setup. Of course I’d never try and plug my gaming PC with a 650 watt power supply up to it bc it would surely just trip the built in breaker and shut off. As far as which one to get uhh no brainer get the 1000VA and you’ll be happy! And IGNORE all negative comments. It’s ran an hour just fine and the level hasn’t dropped 1 single bar. I work from home and needed a minimum of a 450va for 15 minutes of power, well I decided to get a really good one that would get me as close to a full 8hr day as possible and this is not disappointing!

Out of the box, the only ports that worked were the surge protected ports. Battery ports were all dead.
