Amazing Stand!!! (Update 12/14/25)
I wanted to like this charger. I really did. I’ll start with the good, before I go into the issues.For full transparency, I own android devices primarily (Fold 7 is my primary phone. Moto Razr Ultra 2025 as my work phone), but I have employees that use Apple Products and had them try it out.The Good is the build quality of the stand. I have the three in one stand which charges your device via Qi2 charging & magsafe, your apple watch, and there’s a Qi charger on the base of the stand for your earbuds. The stand itself is made a solid metal stand with a matte finish plastic base. On the bottom of the base has a rubber pad so it doesn’t slide around when you accidentally whack into it. There is a nice fast charging brick /w USB C cable, and it fits into the base with a cut out so it doesn’t sit awkwardly on your table or desk.So, the whole point of this charger is to charge. The apple watch charger does its thing. It’s nothing remarkable and it just charges as it’s supposed to do. Do know that this will NOT charge anything else other than an apple watch because Apple uses a proprietary wireless charging solution. I used one of my employee’s Apple Watch Ultra 2 and he remarked that it wasn’t really any faster or slower than usual.The actual charger itself. My Galaxy Fold 7 supports Qi2 charging and I have a case that supports magsafe with Qi2 charging. When I slapped it on, it does charge, but man, it’s a lot slower than my Samsung dual pad wireless charger (which doesn’t support Qi2)! What the heck! I used a different charging brick to see if that was the issue, but alas, it’s not. To give an example of the charge speeds, I’m at 38% battery life right now and it’s telling me it will take 3 hours to charge to full. So that’s good for overnight charging at your bedside, but don’t expect to get quick amount of juice in 30 mins or so with these speeds. When I used an employee’s iPhone 17 Pro Max, it really wasn’t any faster, so it’s not a Apple vs. Samsung situation.The ugly part came next. I have Air Pod Pros and I also have the latest Samsung buds (not the pros). I placed either buds on, it worked perfectly fine. I then will attach my phone to the charger, my phone will NOT charge. If I were to remove my buds, then my phone will charge. I did this step with an iPhone 17 Pro Max instead of my Samsung, same thing. I don’t know if there’s something faulty with my unit, but that’s kind of the whole point of the three in one charger. I want to be able to charge three things at once, not just one at a time. I then went the other route. I attached my phone first, then placed my airpods/samsung buds on the base charger… and the base charger isn’t charging. Major bummer.It’s a very nice & sleek charging stand. I give it a lot of style points and construction feels great. For actual charging and the price point Mophie is asking, I really hope my unit is a defective one and not the standard, because there’s a heck of a lot less expensive options that charge a lot better. I really love the mophie brand as I have multiple battery packs from them, but this stand doesn’t pass the grade.—————-I had the charger disconnected for a day because I was so let down, but I decided to give it another try.I again, used the included charger (plugged it into the same outlet and everything, so no weird variable) and now my Fold 7 is fast charging. Odd…I then did the ultimate test and while charging my Fold 7 on the main charger, I put a Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 on the stand charger part WHILE charging the Fold 7 simultaneously… and both are charging. I know the included charger was plugged into the stand fully AND into the same outlet. I had previously unplugged and replugged it in multiple times, but I guess it was just being weird out of the box?I then replicated the issue I had before regarding my iPod Pros just to make sure it wasn’t some glitch in the matrix. Both the AirPods AND phone are charging simultaneously.I have adjusted my rating from a 2 star to a 4 star because I am a little concerned I may run into this issue I had originally again. If I never experienced what I did in my original review, I’d give this a 5 star. So now I’ll say, “Purchase this product, but make sure you check out the kinks before the return period is up”. It’s a really nice stand and now I’m much happier.——–Update 2:Okay, I’ve been using this daily and it’s amazing. I’m using it to charge my main phone (Z fold 7) and my work phone (Razr Ultra 2025) at the same time. It has worked flawlessly. I’m blaming myself on the first part of the review and bumping it up to a 5 star as it deserves it. I don’t ever use the apple charger part, but my employees do so it gets its usage!
