Love these light switches. I don’t really want Alexa in my house so I can use these directly without going through Alexa. The “three way switch” was a little confusing to hook up but I got it done. They are working grteat through my smart phone.

After installing two different manufactures that did not work, I purchased an Intermatic switch based on previous experience with their quality. Easy to install. Use the video on their website to program the unit. Great video, easy to follow. Switch works great even tried turning the lights on from a long distance and no problem. This wi fi switch WORKS.

Quality Unit! Setup Glitchy in Intermatic ABRA App
This switch represents my first dive into home automation. I have heard about the Intermatic brand for years and thought this switch would work well for my front porch light. The unit is heavy duty! Comes with the switch, wire nuts and instructions (no wall plate – which I don’t understand at this price point). The wires are clearly labeled on the switch body, and includes a red “traveler” for three-way installations. It also has a neutral (white) wire which is required for proper installation. I use this unit as a single-pole light switch.Installation was simple enough, it fits in a standard electrical box, but the setup – for me – was glitchy using the ABRA app on my iPhone 13. I had much better luck with the Alexa app after I scanned the Matter QR code located on the front of the switch body behind the wall plate. One thing to note is that the QR code identifies the device as a light rather than switch in Alexa. The unit has worked as advertised in the past two weeks. I expect a long service life if the quality is as good as it appears.

In the current technological era, it is not feasible to set smart switches to automatically turn on and off at sunrise and sunset. I wish I should have bought different brand.

Works Perfect With Siri or Alexa! Simple Setup!
This smart switch works very well! Instructions to install were clear from the manual and it fit snug into my small single gang wall US gem box with one cable going into it. The switch is meant to handle up to 15A of general purpose load which is a lot considering it is a smart switch. This switch will NOT dim any of your loads but since I installed it for a smart fan which has dimming capability via an RF remote or RF app, you can use the smart switch to energize the fan and then you’ll have the functionality of any smart downstream installed device.Matter setup worked very easily by scanning the unique QR code on the device when adding the device via the Apple Home app. It is a reliable method of control which works great either through the phone or Siri commands. Although the device will work via app control regardless of what your Apple device infrastructure you have in your home, it is recommended to at least have one Apple TV 4K or AppleHome Hub so that you can enable more features such as remote access, scenes and advanced automation.Aside from having Apple Siri control, I also successfully added the device into my Alexa app by first going into my Apple home app and setting the device into pairing mode from there and copying and pasting a unique setup code which I copied into the Alexa app. The the device can successfully be operated via the Apple Home app, Siri, Alexa app on iphone or speaking to Alexa’s. Super versatile!The switch does prominently list the INTERMATIC brand name/logo on the bottom portion of the switch which may be off putting to some that may want their switches to match and look uniform. Personally I do not mind it much since it is a faint grey color and if you are not looking for it, you will likely ignore it.Last but not least, the device does produce a relay click noise and displays a small blue indicator light when turning on. It is not too noticeable when there is ambient noise around but in a silent setting, it is very much audible. In my video, please ignore the audible beep that occurs after the repeat click since that does NOT have anything to do with the reviewed switch – it is the sound of my fan which is connected to the switch and makes that beep noise every time it is turned on.Overall this is a great home and even light commercial use smart switch!
