Diffuser is awesome!
Note: We thought we were being smart choosing the16 ft because it’s $1/ft cheaper but you can only connect 2 of the 16 ft. Which means if the room needs 3 of them, you will have to run 2 plug/cords up the wall rather than one. Just something to consider. Really easy to install. Our 16 yo daughter installed them by herself. The only thing that was challenging was cutting the diffuser plastic. They should give a little extra. There is no extra for error so be careful. Govee quality is good. They are pricey and but not much more than other brands. Diffuser makes a great ambiance! App is easy to use and you can connect all 3 to operate together in the app.

INCREDIBLE lights for music studio
The installation of these Govee lights in our music studio has created the atmosphere necessary for production and recording sessions! Looks great, but a tool should be provided and set up is a bit more tedious then usual.
Great looking lights with great diffusers when set up properly. I really wish it came with tools to better adjust for customizable size for the hard plastic parts and the diffusers. This made the set up a bit difficult, the software for the lights needs upgrading for easier use and convenience. Very vibrant, set up is a bit tedious, and quite difficult to get the spacing between diffusers right, there should also be diffuser connectors to remove possibility of spacing between diffuser to avoid awkward spots.

Great but need to be more sticky
Love how bright they are and how many options the app has, but the adhesive pads could be stronger they fell over and over until the bulbs started to malfunction and now I have to look for new lightsUpdate: I gave them 2 more stars because their customer service representative was very understanding and went above and beyond to help me with my issue

These Govee RGBIC LED strip lights are a great addition to any room. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the included covers give a smooth, modern look without visible LED dots. Setup was easy, and the Govee Home app makes controlling colors, effects, and schedules simple. I especially love the multi-color modes and how they sync to music.The adhesive could be stronger on some surfaces, so plan to use extra tape or clips if needed. Overall, great value for the length and features — perfect for mood lighting behind TVs, desks, or in bedrooms!

Get a different Govee product
I am really disappointed with this product. I have Govee rope lights, the tv back light, the light bars, and some smart bulbs, and I have been mostly pleased with them! But I would return this product if I could. The color fidelity is BAD. Like, Govee should be ashamed of themselves bad. The only colors that are anywhere close to accurate are reds. Oranges lean pink, yellows lean green, blues are anyone’s guess, and nothing is very rich. The candlelight option, which is my favorite setting on the other Govee products, switches between a washed-out salmon color and warmish white, and doesn’t flicker at all. The transitions are blunt and there are only two colors. The “warm white” is a bile colored yellow-green. I am really upset that I got it all out and installed before I found out how disappointing it was. If I’d have known, I would have gotten another rope light.

It’s alright
I have Philips hues but wanted to try out another lighting brand, especially some strip lighting that has a nice look to it. These are alright if you can get them for like $50 or cheaper.The color accuracy is horrible. RGB colors come out awesome but when you start blending for colors like orange these things fail. If you pick the preset orange color in the app it just turns yellow. There is a brightness threshold where as soon as you go too bright or too dim the selected color can no longer be represented. A nice reddish orange will just turn to fill red from 80% brightness or higher.The instillation was pretty simple but if you want to take advantage of the bend adapters you’re going to need a decent knife or saw so you can custom cut the 40cm pieces to odd sizes. The little clips that come to keep the LED strip from pressing against the LED cover don’t allow the LED cover to fully seat into the grooves.If this is for some accent lighting and you plan on doing a simple color that’s neon they’re perfect. The music feature is also really fun and responsive. If you’re looking for color accurate lighting that can produce vibrant color at any brightness you’re gonna have to spend more on Philips hue their super expensive for a reason that I actually understand now. Overall I like the light strip but it I could do it again id just spend $100 more for a high quality lighting experience. These just feel cheap when you’re customizing a scene and limiting. They look good tho which is the saving grace. When you do find some colors and animations that work well for your space you feel good about it. Setting up those colors and animations is frustrating because the light strip can’t make certain colors.

These Govee RGBIC strip lights are awesome. Super bright, tons of color options, and the covers make them look really clean and professional once installed. The app is easy to use and the effects are fun to play with. Adhesive stuck well too. Great way to upgrade a room without much effort.

Although these LEDS are on the pricier side, it isn’t hard to understand why given the quality of the kit. They are super bright while have many light patterns to choose from. The hardware to install and diffuse the light is well made and easy enough to install. My only real issue is not knowing where to install the light strip in order to get the most out of them 🙂

Such an excellent kit. Govee is definitely consumer oriented and easy to install. The app is easy to use and has more features than one could dream of.I gave it 4 stars because it does require cutting to custom fit and have tidy ends. I have fluted slat walls and these do not fit in between the panels. Also, the system is not symmetrical.. what that means is there are sides that show less light and a back side that is opaque. The corner pieces appear to be designed to allow you to make 90 degree angles against wall edges and corners only… you can’t go up the middle of the wall without exposing one of the asymmetric sides.

As with all other Govee products I’ve tried, these are very high quality and work great. I have them synched up to all my other Govee lights which are synched up to my PC screen, making my whole gaming room very immersive. I just realized this sounds like an ad, but I don’t even care. lol

The strip lights themselves are nothing special. However, with the diffuser for the lights, the vibrancy of colour is great. The plastic is easy to cut if you need to trim and go around corners. (Simple $5-10 hacksaw) The clips to hold the striplight in place in the diffuser are great. There are more than enough to support and hold the lights. My mistake was putting up the channels without measuring it out to where you can cut the light strip. It integrated with my Google home very easily. I can use Google home to change colors, brightness, etc. This is my 3rd Govee Product. 10/10 recommend.
