Switching over to WIZ
I love WIZ. I like bright bright light. My son, not do much – sooo it’s easily changed. Easy to set up, no issues with Alexia. Wht was I spending so damn much money on Phillips Hue, if these are the same people?

Great bulbs but don’t put on a timer unless you mean it. Forever.
I love everything about them except that the ghosts of whatever timer they go on first will haunt them forever. I have switched bulbs out for various reasons and they never reset fully so, try not doing that or your lamps will start freaking you out too at all hours of the day and night.

Super cool lights that can be activated with motion. Love these. Keeps room bright. Make sure to get more than one to have motion activation. Connected very easily and pretty good price. Functions as advertised and makes things convenient at home.

The only brand lightbulb I’ve used that does not flicker.
I have been very disappointed by most of the brands of LED lightbulbs available in the big box hardware stores that only seem to function well for a few months and then start to randomly and subtly flicker. This is not the result of a mismatched dimmer switch. I am using standard on/off toggle light switches. All of the Phillips wiz lightbulbs have performed excellently as smart bulbs and do not flicker. This is the only brand I am willing to buy for my non-enclosed light fixtures. It is expensive to buy a smart bulb when you don’t necessarily need that functionality, but it is also expensive to buy another cheaper brand of LED bulb that you can only tolerate for less than a year before it starts driving you nuts with random flickering. I have Philips wiz bulbs that are several years old and still performing perfectly. And places where I didn’t think I would need a smart bulb, I’m finding convenient to take advantage of the ability to turn these fixture into nightlights, especially as our pets are aging, and sometimes need some middle of the night attention.

Product box marked as not for resale
I have purchased a number of these bulbs from local retailers. I’ve never had an issue and been happy with the results. This is why I’ve decided to continue with Wiz compatible devices. However, I noticed that these bulbs came with a sticker on each box that says “not for resale“. I hadn’t noticed this until after installation and set up. These bulbs have shown differences in behavior compared to the others that I have. When I spotted them not for resale, I’ve contemplated whether or not that is the issue. There’s a reason they’re marked for not for resale. I intend to reach out to Wiz to notify them that there’s a seller on Amazon selling a product of theirs that indicates not for resale. So as far as the product goes, I’ll continue to purchase the product, but as far as the seller, I wouldn’t use them again, despite the price being very competitive and better than what I could find locally.

Anyone who has an “led bulb” drawer knows the struggle. Happy to report these bulbs get bright enough to not be obviously dim, while admittedly still being softer, energy saving lights. My favorite part is turning them off via smart switch. Would get these again. When they disconnect, a simple off-on cycle reconnects them. Great lights all around, let’s just hope they last long too!

The item was clearly used but being sold as new. The box also states “not for resale”. The item was sold at a discount. They did work as far as turn on and have different settings. I could not figure out how to get the motion sensor setting to work.
