Great product and very reasonable price
I got this double camera for an elderly neighbor. She kept getting woke up by another neighbor banging on her door in the middle of the night, so this was perfect for that. The solar panel is very good quality and has a long cord which was great since the sun doesn’t shine where the camera is. I just moved the panel to a better spot and good to go. The picture quality is very good and I love that you can have each camera cover a different direction. It recognizes people from animals and only turns on for people. It sends a notification when recording and I can access video and pictures anytime and anywhere. Took less than 5 minutes for me to install the camera and not long to set up either. I’m very satisfied with this and have recommended it to multiple people I know. Great price, great quality from everything I’ve seen, and I’ve been using it for a couple months now I think. Recommend to anyone who needs peace if mind or needs to catch someone up to no good. BTW, the bratty neighbor never woke my friend again after seeing the camera had been installed 👍

Description is wrong. This camera does not work with 5Ghz.
The Amazon page description says 2.4Ghz/5Ghz. If you ask the BOT a product question “does the camera work with a 5G only router” The answer comes back, “yes the camera works with both 2.4G and 5G”. Well that is completely untrue. I tried connecting to my 5G router and it wouldn’t. Then I noticed on the side of the box it says support 2.4 GHZ. Then I looked closer at the owners manual and it says “The camera works with 2.4GHZ only, please set your router to 2.4 Ghz. Low and behold it connected to 2.4. But I need it to connect to 5.0 and it absolutely will not.I went to through the painful customer support process on line and was told over and over again the I was wrong, that the camera works with 5.0. Then after the 4th back and forth exchange I was told “The owner’s manual is wrong”. LOLLOLOL.Now guess what? I bought the camera for a new building that has 5 Ghz only. We were delayed moving in so it’s been more than 30 days and they wont let me return it. I reached out to talk to a representative by phone and I was called promptly by a very courteous representative who, after hearing my story, put me on hold a couple of times while she deferred to her support staff. Ultimately she came back with the same answer as the BOT; that it was over 30 days and regardless of the reason I could not return it. Well in my book that is unethical. I was sold a product that was completely misrepresented and does not work as it is described by Amazon. It is brand new in the box. It should not matter if its after 30 days. if you sell me a cow when I ordered a horse you owe me my money back. I spend a lot of money on Amazon and have been member for as long as Amazon has had memberships. I feel like I’ve earned a little better treatment than this. But as important. THE PRODUCT PAGE STILL SAYS 5Ghz. I notice a lot of one star reviews saying they couldn’t get the camera to connect , I’ll bet the are 5Ghz only routers.Here is the description from the Amazon page: “Solar Security Cameras Outdoor Wireless,2.4G/5G WiFi Cameras for Home. Happy with Cam……So Far
Extremely happy with the camera! Picture quality is very good and positioned right I get notifications with any movement on the walkway. Then there’s no subscription required to access an event which is a huge plus. The smart card records the notification and playback is exceptional. And no need to plug in to an outlet with the solar power that seems to keep the camera powered well. Works great on my 5G router too. This beats a doorbell cam. I am able to see directly in front of the door and down our walkway. No more wondering if Amazon made a delivery when I am away as I can see every detail of my front door entry and can zoom in on any package. After researching doorbell cams and many other security cams this is the best one. I use an SD card but cloud must be turned on in settings or it will not record.UPDATE: The cam is super sensative to any movement. If there is any movement even from a small plant in the wind or a bird it will send notifications. Settings were modified once for distance and the option to detect a person only. Distance change to shortest possible of 15 feet max didn’t stop notifications of cars 50 to 60 feet away or peeople walking on the other side. Changing alerts to a person gave detection notices infrequently and not everytime a person came to the door. The cam has benn mounted farther under the roof to block anything past 6 feet by the roof and detections set to default again. To see the door and Amazon deliveries the motion camera is set to a fixed position looking down while the stationary camera sees only our walkway and partial driveway. No subscrition is required which I think is a scam though tne concern is that I use an SD card but cloud storage must be activated to record on the card. I certainly hope I am not charged for cloud storge after 30 days.Thumbs up to technical support that has been a great help! Bottom line is I like the cam. Time will tell if the camera holds upUpdate Feb 11 2025: Replacement working like a charm! Better than a doorbell cam. I am blocking the street as it will pick up every movement
