Hard to find a better camera than this one for the money.
I’ve purchased several VicoHome cameras, mostly indoor models, and I have never been disappointed. Sometimes, they have difficulty reconnecting and require a power cycle, which is common with this type of technology. However, I haven’t had this issue with the outdoor model. The camera comes with everything needed for installation in various positions, thanks to the pivot ball base shown in the pictures. The image quality is sharp, with excellent night vision and vivid color. The outdoor model features an even brighter night light than my previous models. The connection and video frame range exceeded my expectations. Setting up the camera was straightforward. Battery life depends on how often recording occurs, which is controlled by the motion detection sensor and the VicoHome app; I usually charge it every two weeks but avoid this by keeping the camera plugged in continuously. This way, it stays operational even during power outages. Its performance has been reliable, with no connection issues, and live feeds run smoothly. At around $30 each, it’s a great value. I highly recommend these cameras and the VicoHome app.

Good camera for an affordable price
Found this camera to work well and has lots of features comparable to the name brand but at a better price point. It is nice that the camera will work without a monthly subscription. Also found this camera to have better night vision than many other cameras.

No required membership
I’ve been really impressed with this security camera. It does a great job capturing clear video, day or night, and gives me real peace of mind. The setup was simple, and using it couldn’t be more convenient everything is easy to control right from my phone. The motion alerts are reliable, and the camera responds quickly when I check in. Overall, it’s an easy, dependable option that makes home security feel effortless.

Works great but battery life lowkey ruins them.
They work great, the subscription is fine and inexpensive. Was easy to set up an angles were great. As for the motion detection, goes off to often and needs to be fixed for sure. Would be nice if the app had a enable disable button on the front screen. Battery life is bad, needed to keep taking them down to charge to often. If they came with a 16′-20′ cable to charge they would just stay plugged in.

Quality is here in this camera
Powerful camera packs a great punch. This is a sturdy, heavy, great quality product. It’s easy to set up and work to connect to your phone. I haven’t hung it up outside yet but based on the design, I know I won’t have any issues. The package includes a window sticker highlighting surveillance which is an added bonus!

Could be better…
I purchased four of these cameras in February, got them installed in March. They worked fine, I could view recordings on my phone, I got the notifications whenever a person walked by though it was a bit delayed it’ll send a notification after the person was long gone. The recordings were clear during the day and okay during the night. Sometimes it wouldn’t detect vehicles especially if they were painted in dark colors.Around July one of the cameras stopped detecting the SD card even when I used a new SD card and so I wasn’t able to view the recording on my phone, only live view. On top of that these require charging and where I live the area is a bit active at times and these cameras will quickly die. 2 out of 4 will need charging in less that 2 weeks. Now we’re in October and sadly these cameras are failing. I’m now having trouble charging these cameras. Before it would’ve taken around 4 or 5 hours to get a full battery now it takes 12 hours or so just to get the battery to 30%.Unfortunately I’ll have to replace them soon.
