Excellent system, reliable, well built, and worth considering.
Fantastic timelapse camera. I have been filming timelapse photography for about 15 years. Everything from landscape, to studio based timelapse (Green Planet) to construction timelapse. I have about a dozen ATLI EON cameras that I use to monitor plants, film behind the scenes, and have always liked the ATLI ecosystem.I have two of the 4500 4k cameras and one of the 3500, and they are all excellent cameras.The 4k Is very nice, the sensor seems to do a good job and delivers good quality image, nice and sharp.I was suprised when I got my first 4500, it was larger and more robust than i was expecting. I have no doubt it will be able to handle whatever weather is thrown at it. It feels very rugged.The ATLI+ app is also pretty good. Once the cameras are connected to the LAN you can access them from anywhere. There are also no private servers it is saved direct on camera, so no worries of 3rd partys having access to the footage.Reliability is good, one has been running for about 4 months in my workshop and the other about 3 months in my studio.The only complaint I have is I wish it came bundled with an extension cable for the power.Build Quality – 10/10Easy of use 10/10Control App 8/10 (lots of good features but sometimes finniky)Image Quality 8/10 (4k sensor is great, but not as good as DSLR)Reliability 10/10Value for Money 9/10Overall score 9.5/10, Highly Recommend.

Great Time Lapse Camera Choice
I picked up the ATLI 4500G for a project, and it’s been fantastic!The app is really user-friendly. I can monitor the live feed and tweak settings without having to return to the site, which is a huge time-saver. The 4G LTE and dual-band Wi-Fi are impressively fast—way better than some pricier brands.The 4K video quality is stunning, and the 110° wide field of view is a great bonus. Scheduling shoots is super simple; just a few taps to set the start and stop times, and it sticks to the plan flawlessly.Overall, this camera is definitely worth it!

Initial Impressions – Clunky But Works Well (so far)
I’ve had the ATLI ATL4500 for a few days now, and so far, so good. However, getting started was a bit clunky.Pro Tip: Firmware Update & Connectivity IssuesWait to update the firmware until AFTER you’ve connected the camera to your home or business WiFi. Updating it beforehand can cause connectivity issues. In my case, after updating, the camera wouldn’t reconnect even after 20 minutes. To fix this, I had to unplug it from the wall, hold the power button to turn it off, wait 60 seconds, and then turn it back on. I had to repeat this process twice before it finally worked. At first, I thought the camera was bricked, but it just required some patience.Once you get past the firmware update and figure out the settings, the camera works well, and the image quality is solid.The AppThe app takes a little time to figure out, but once you get used to it, it’s actually pretty decent. The interface isn’t the most intuitive at first, but after some trial and error, I found it to be functional and responsive.Storage & Cloud SyncFor some reason, I didn’t receive the 512GB SD card that was supposed to be included, so I had to use my own. I also set the camera to sync videos and pictures to my Cloud Drive, which is a reassuring feature given the questionable reliability of SD cards. While it doesn’t record directly to the Cloud, it does sync footage, which is good enough for my needs.Recording Setup & Scheduling LimitationsI set the camera to capture a new home construction project at 5-minute intervals in 4K at 25 FPS. While I wish there was a 30 FPS option, 25 FPS still looks good.One minor frustration is that once you set a recording schedule, you’re locked into those settings. If I wanted to slow down the speed during faster construction phases and speed it up during slower ones, I can’t adjust the interval without starting a new video. Not a dealbreaker, but it would be nice to modify settings over time rather than being locked in.Power Cable LimitationsThe included 3-4 ft power cable is disappointingly short. If you’re mounting the camera high up—like I did at the apex of a roof—it won’t be long enough to reach an outlet. I had to use a 50-ft extension cord to make it work. If you need a longer cable, you’ll either have to find a compatible one online or go the extension cord route like I did.Final Thoughts (So Far)The ATLI ATL4500 has a learning curve and some initial setup quirks, especially with firmware updates and scheduling limitations. However, once it’s running, the time-lapse quality is excellent, and the app, while not the most intuitive, works well once you get the hang of it. The cloud sync feature is a nice bonus, and while the power cable is short, it’s easy enough to work around.Overall, despite a few inconveniences, the camera gets the job done.
