reat Smart Bulb with Rich Color, but My First One Arrived Broken
I ordered the WiZ Color G25 filament bulb because I already use a lot of WiZ products, and the color options on this model looked perfect for accent lighting. Even though the first bulb I received arrived broken, I still gave it five stars because once I replaced it, the performance was exactly what I was hoping for. Amazon refunded me quickly, and I picked up another one from Home Depot instead. That second bulb worked perfectly right out of the box.The color quality is impressive for a filament-style bulb. Most filament LEDs focus on warm white only, but this one gives you full color control without losing that vintage look. The 300-lumen output is softer and more atmospheric than a standard bulb, which makes it ideal for lamps, hallway lighting, or decorative fixtures where you want mood over brightness. In my space, it adds just the right amount of color without being harsh.Connecting it to WiZ was quick and painless. It synced to my Wi-Fi without any issues, and it popped right into my existing rooms and schedules. The app gives you full control over color, brightness, scenes, and automations, and the bulb responds instantly to changes. Voice control with my smart home setup works just as smoothly, and the motion-activation feature is a nice bonus if you want hands-free lighting in a specific area.Even though the first one arrived damaged, the working bulb has been great. No flicker, no connection drops, and the color effects look clean and even. It blends perfectly with my other WiZ lighting and adds a unique look thanks to the filament style.Overall, it’s still a five-star product for me. Great color, easy setup, beautiful design, and full Matter compatibility. Just be prepared that shipping can be rough on filament bulbs, but once you get one intact, it performs exactly the way a premium smart bulb should.

Easy to set up and reliable
I love this bulb. It is cute enough to use it without a shade. You can adjust the brightness and set it to any color you’d like, including some dynamic preset ones all from within the app (think fireplace, Christmas tree lights)The bulb was pretty easy to connect to, I even moved it from one room to a table lamp in a different room and had no issue reconfiguring it. The app is working great so far, I’ve been using it for about 2 months without issues. For reference I have an android phone.I do wish it were brighter, but it is only 300 lumens so I knew what I was getting.

Great lightbulb!
Works perfectly. Easy to control with the app once it is configured

Works with 5 Ghz wifi
My prior review indicated it didn’t work with 5Ghz. Since then I’ve been able to work through and get it to work via the app. These bulbs are great and beautiful with my light fixture. I was able to set the app to dim them at a certain time and turn then off completely.

connected 25 of them
so connection was a pain because I plugged all 25 in at once. word of the wise do one bulb at a time or it will be a train wreck. I installed these under a gazebo in one of those string lights that has 25 heads. it makes my whole gazebo glow it is amazing. I like the color adjustment options.

Light is okay but the app SUCKS!
The light is great. Its very bright and can dim to work as a nightlight, but the app sucks. It is terrible. Half the time I try to adjust the light, the app disconnects from the bulb and the light is stuck on the previous setting.

Slow to respond to commands. Can be a nightmare to set up.
I got twelve of these (2 six packs) to go in a Sputnik chandelier because I thought it’d be cool to set different ambiances in my multifunctional dining area, but I’m returning them due to how long it takes (over a minute) for all 12 to respond to commands from Google Home or Hubitat. Sometimes 1 or two just wouldn’t respond. That’s an issue because these are REALLY bright when you first turn them on… overwhelmingly so if you have 12 in a room. Normally bright is good, but having to shield your eyes and issue a command via phone or voice and wait 2-3 minutes every time I turn the fixture on was just not gonna work for us.I’ll just be getting a smart dimmer with similar looking dimmable “warm” LED bulbs. No temperature changing for us.I looked forward to them being matter enabled (which IS the best way to use them) because I didn’t want another app/third party integration. Matter setup is just painful when you get twelve of something, but to make matters (ha) worse, the QR code is not on the bulbs, it is on the underside of the box lid. This means you have to keep track of which is which (I lost track) or use a process of elimination to figure it out before you pack them back up. If you’re keeping them NEVER loose those QR codes. GOOD LUCK!The matter setup process takes 2-3 minutes per bulb. Then due to the response time issues I tried setting them up via the Wiz app to see if that’d solve it. It was a faster setup, but didn’t fix performance. So I tried to go back to matter, but the setup process would hang during the setup process when trying to get matter credentials. After much trial and error I learned to fix this by setting them up via the app and explicitly removing/deleting each light from the Wiz app before attempting matter setup. Hours man, HOURS…wasted.Granted, most of my issues stem from putting 12 on one fixture/room, but I just wanted folks to be aware because I think that’s going to be fairly common for such ornamental lights sold in boxes of 6.Oh, and the advertised motion sensor feature is highly dependent on specific WiFi router technology and position in your home. Won’t work for most. Don’t buy it for that feature.

Pay attention to the lumens
Really cool idea and I love the aesthetic + full spectrum color option. There’s also an option to have the bulbs enter a different color setting if you turn them on/off twice instead of once which is really neat. Unfortunately I’m used to the 1000 lumen kasa bulbs and these simply don’t put out enough light for the room, so I had to return them. It’s also an extreme premium at 35+ per bulb, when you could get 4 smart bulbs for the same cost.

Too bright to use without a shade, but if you put it on then what’s the point of the LED spiral thing? The color doesn’t match other smart lights of the same brand
