Great little device
I wanted a UPS to plug our home internet router into to save it from any small outages and give us internet access to our phones and tablets. This was $50 on prime day and offered alot for the price. It arrived on time and once I installed it and plugged the router into it, 2 days later we lost power for about an hour as the power company decided to swap our local transformer. The UPS did the job perfectly and after an hour we were only down 25% in battery power so I expect we would have maintained usable power level for a few hours more. Small device with a nice operating app to upload on my desktop to monitor stats with.

Great for the price
So far so good. I got this for my Internet box. Every time the power flickers it causes the box to reboot and that’s 15 minutes every time! I was over it so I got this and it definitely works!

Fully featured UPS, but with some software quirks
I just bought this UPS (625VA version) to replace old failed CyberPower device. This UPS works, but there are some quirks/issues with the PC connection/software – it requires some tinkering to get it working – setup is not easy.Pros:- Good value for money – inexpensive yet fully-featured UPS, with LCD screen and USB connection for PC- AVR (automatic voltage regulation) feature- Battery is easy to replace (and potentially upgrade)- Decent battery run time – at least according to specs (have not tested it yet)- Compact sizeCons:- While this UPS can be connected to a PC USB port, unlike APC or many other brands it is not recognized as a standard UPS device – you have to install proprietary software- Software requires registration, and the process could be confusing- Software is not provided with the device, you have to download it, and the link provided in the manual is for an older version that does not work with the current Windows versionThe link in the manual points to UPSilon2000 software v5.5, but this version for some reasons does not work properly on the current Windows OS – it is unable to communicate with the UPS device. I found newer version v6.0 of the same software, this version works properly and is able to communicate with the UPS device. The v6.0 version is here: megatec.com.tw/UPSilon2000V6.0.rarRegistration process: Software requires registration, using CD code printed on one of the stickers on the UPS device (not serial number but CD code!). Registration process is asking for your email, and asks to setup a password (presumably to be able to re-register if you reinstall software). Set good long random password for it – don’t use a password you are using anywhere else.Shipping was quick and problem-free, would recommend this seller.

different devices all good results
i originally purchased one of these to use with my mother’s oxygen concentrator. we have fairly frequent momentary e.g. 1 second power outages. problem being my mother is here in hospice care and those outages are just enough to shut her oxygen machine off. no oxygen for more than a short period and she would not survive.i wasn’t sure if one of these would work but sure enough on day two after i had it connected we had one of those quick power outages. however the battery did the job and the oxygen concentrator never shut off.be aware you need to figure out which of the two types of outlets on the backup battery is the proper one to use. i had to do some research to figure out which one i needed to use. i tested it using both types and only the proper one worked as expected. so if one doesn’t work for you try switching the plug type used on the battery and give it another go.the led display on the front is very easy to read and provides all the useful information you’ll ever need. the overall build quality is good and the size is very manageable even for tight spaces.going back to momentary power outages, it was a pain in another area for our family, that being internet and wifi. even a one second on/off event knocked off both our router and all the wifi mesh units. then a five minute wait for the system to come back online. this device worked so well for my mother’s needs i thought to try it with our mesh wifi system.i purchased two more of these. hooked one up to the router and one to a mesh unit. it took a few days but the trusty power blips came back. while the mesh units not connected to these power backups went down my router and that one mesh unit stayed up and running. so the downtime we’d been experiencing before became a thing of the past.i cannot say how long these units will keep powering devices because as said our outages are just ‘blips’ but as for keeping a mix of devices, router, mesh unit and oxygen concentrator up and running i could not be happier with the end results.as said i now have three of these in our home and am very happy with how things worked out.
