Inexpensive but VERY impressive sound system
Wow! I bought this to replace a Samsung 2.1 soundbar with two surround sound speakers I bought in 2016. I thought my previous sound system was good, but this Ultimea 7.1 system is an amazing experience. I had no idea what I’ve been missing. Huge advances in affordable home theater tech in the decade. With the Ultimea system the opening scene explosions in Iron Man on blu-ray sound amazing! I felt like the guy in the Maxell cassette tape ad from the 80’s getting blown backwards by the sound (youngsters can find the image on the interwebs). I’m looking forward to watching Black Hawk Down in 4K after Amazon delivers my new 4K player next week. No doubt the sound will be amazing. Before buying this Ultimea I looked at several big-name soundbars at Costco, but even on Black Friday sales the comparable soundbars at Costco cost at least a Benjamin more than the Ultimea system. Those systems are probably great too, but quite a bit more expensive.I was also really impressed with the Ultimea packaging and the way all parts were clearly labeled and easy to assemble. I had a tiny hiccup getting the surround sound to connect, but after turning it off then back on it was connected.

Better quality than expected. Very nice at this price point.
What a surprise for a surround in this price range! I expected the quality to be much worse, I am surprised at the quality. The set up was easy as long as you go online to do it. The unit is smaller than I expected but the sound quality is amazing.

    Big sound, small footprint
This little system is incredible! Such big sound for a small footprint. The rear speakers were easy to hide and easy to pair. After I put lunged everything in, the whole system started working the second I turned it on. As a combat veteran, I am deaf in one ear and cant hear out of the other. Usually I have to have the captions on when I watch something with my wife but tgis little guy makes the voices clear enough I can understand it it even at a lower volume. The eARC system sounds like being in an IMAX theater at home. Great value!

    Great for smaller spaces
Surround sound is adequate. Scary movies are more frightening due to the speaker placement. Great for a small apartment or a bedroom. My only con is the system is not near as loud as my previous surround..

Took some adjusting, but I am happy with it.
Update:Without contacting them (other than writing a review), the seller quickly reached out to me to determine if unit was defective, and offered suggestions to resolve issues, which helped get the sound more to my liking. They also explained some design differences between their system and another brand I had compared it to in my review, without any hostility about it.Some of my issues were due to the source device preprocessing the sound and then this device trying to process it a second time.I had expected that starting with the Bass, Midrange, and Treble all zeroed out, and setting all EQ bars mid point that the sound would be basically as originally recorded (as a starting point), but it looks like to do that the bass needs to be close to 0, the midrange needs to be at 4-5, and the treble needs to be at 5-6.The sound does still drop out briefly when the equalizer settings are changed, but once it was adjusted, I haven’t had to make changes to it very often for movies and TV.I also realized that when streaming music from my phone, I can use the phone’s built in equalizer (instead of the one in their app) and adjust the audio as much as I want without any dropouts.I added some low cost RCA extensions to the front left and right speakers, to get them wider apart (needed mostly due to my specific room setup), and think that was also an improvement. After getting more familiar with it and getting it dialed in, I think this system is worth what I paid for it. Thanks to their excellent customer support, I am increasing my review from 3 to 5 stars, and keeping this product.Original Review:Seems to be a solid product. Arrived very well packaged in quality foam.Instructions were not great, but there were no issues setting it up. Wireless link to rear speakers eliminates having wires running from front of room to back. System can get suprisingly loud for its size; louder than I need for most movies. Got phone app installed and working without any problem.Currently I have 2 issues with it.1. Doesn’t sound as good as a previous 5.1 system I had from Sony (died after a lightning strike). Seems like something is missing from midrange, no matter what adjustments I make.2. Every time I make any adjustments to the equalizer in the phone app, the sound cuts out for about 1/2 a second. Not sure if I have a defective system, but this is incredibly annoying when trying to fine tune the sound.

Where is the power savings mode settings at?
I do not recommend this product. When listening to any type of video or song if there is a break in the audio there will be a delay in the audio when sounds resumes cutting off a small portion of the audio. Supposedly you could go to there ridiculous app (because that is how you access to the setting, fyi I don’t want to use an app on my phone to control my sound system) where you will still find no way to disable audio power savings mode!

Beyond impressed, whole family loves them!
I love these speakers, I purchased these speakers on black Friday, I would purchase them again at their normal price.Crisp base, easy to control EQ on the remote/or for convenience the phone app!I’m honestly surprised at the quality that came out of such a small package. I had absolutely ZERO issues.Want no surround sound? Turn it off.Want less base lower it into the negatives.Treble, Mids – adjust them at your will. For any standard family, these will be nearly perfect for you! Great sound. Absolutely happy with my purchase. My kids love them. Even the wife enjoys it.If these are this good, I’m so interested in finding out what Ultimeas higher end ones are like!

These were easy to set up on my own Samsung TV and the correct settings were selected by default. If your TV has no PCM setting, then it can be more complicated. They have 3 input options and a USB port, so you can use them as bluetooth speakers for your phone, or they have an Aux socket, or the optical cable, which is what I used. You plug in the sound bar, connect it up and pair it. Then you plug the sub woofer and the side speakers into the sound bar. The right rear speaker is plugged in to a socket, and connected to the other one, with a cable, then they automatically connect wirelessly to the system, which worked fine. So this requires 2 electrical outlets not too far away.Instructions are a bit basic, no detailed trouble shooting info. There’s no AUX cable included. You get plastic mounting brackets, with fixtures, which are static, so you cannot adjust the angle.I was surprised by how good the sound quality is, and these are quite loud, too. While I’ve never had one of these before, I have experience of excellent systems, and this compares very well, considering how little these cost. I am sure there’s things that some people will criticise, but these make the viewing experience so more immersive and the subwoofer is good. Compared to the built-in ones, this is a huge upgrade. These are not Dolby, of course, and this is their range for smaller spaces, so entry level.I like that they are controlled with an app, and you have all sorts of options to play with. You also get a remote, and they seem largely interchangeable, so you can do most stuff with the app.Everything is compact and looks sleek and discreet. I think these are good value, myself. An affordable way to elevate your set-up.This is a Vine Voice review, but that has not changed my opinion. I try to use or test all products, or if I can’t, I at least check them. You can see my rating system on my public profile under my bio, as I don’t want to add it to every review.

If you’ve never experienced 7.1 or even surround sound before, then this speaker set will make a huge difference to your movie/television/music experiences.Basically, what this set of speakers does is better distribute sound compared to a television that has a single or two speakers with sound coming at you from one direction. Sound comes at you from a sound bar, two speakers in front of you, a subwoofer, and then two speakers behind you.In addition to the multiple directions of the sound, you also have a large range of sound compared to the smaller TV speakers, which end up leaving audio feeling murky. The thing I noticed most of all was how much easier it is to hear and understand voices. It turns out that many digital services produce shows with 5.1 or 7.1 in mind and so if you’re finding that your favourite tv shows are hard to hear, it may be worth looking into a better speaker system.Setting everything up was easy. You get the various mounts needed included and a number of cable or non-cable connection options. We went for a mixture of cable and Bluetooth and this seems to be working well. The Bluetooth connection has been stable and the speakers are perfectly synced. In terms of the speakers themselves, I think they are very modern looking. They need to be uncovered and on display, so I think it’s important they aren’t ‘ugly’. These, I feel, have a modern and sleek look to them. There is an app for better control of the sound, although I’ve not felt the need to use it yet.

This comprehensive soundbar system delivers immersive 5.1 channel surround sound through Bluetooth and app connectivity. The 250W peak power provides impressive volume without distortion at maximum levels. The Aura A30 subwoofer adds depth and bass response completing the home theatre experience effectively. The virtual surround technology creates spacious audio from front firing speakers. The Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity is stable and responsive without disconnection issues. The OPT and AUX inputs provide flexibility connecting various sources including older televisions. The app control enables convenient sound adjustment from mobile devices. The build quality is substantial with proper cabinet construction and speaker components. The surround speakers integrate seamlessly without requiring complex wiring installations. The audio clarity is impressive across dialogue, music, and film soundtracks. The bass response from the subwoofer is controlled and punchy without overwhelming. The spacing between channels creates genuine surround sensation during movies. The frequency response is balanced and natural sounding without artificial equalization.I set this up in my lounge for streaming films and honestly it’s transformed the experience completely. Film soundtracks now sound genuinely immersive with proper surround effects I’d never experienced with my TV speaker. Dialogue is crystal clear which was important because my wife struggled hearing the TV before. The bass is satisfying without shaking the walls constantly which neighbours would hate. Setup was straightforward and the app control is genuinely useful for adjusting levels from the sofa.

I’ve been on the hunt for a soundbar that could bring the cinema experience into my living room, and the ULTIMEA 5.1ch Soundbar has absolutely delivered.Setting it up was a breeze – everything you need is included in the box, and the app control makes adjusting settings so much easier than fiddling with remote buttons. The Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity is fast and reliable, meaning I can easily stream music or podcasts without any hiccups. The sound quality is where this little system really shines. The virtual surround sound is top-notch, and when paired with the subwoofer and the two surround speakers, it transforms any film or TV show into a full home theatre experience. The bass is deep and punchy, without being overpowering, and the dialogue is crystal clear – no more straining to hear the conversation over background noise! I’ve used it for everything from action films to music concerts, and the audio performance is nothing short of impressive.Another feature that I appreciate is the versatility with multiple input options like OPT and AUX. Whether you’re hooking it up to your TV, gaming console, or even an old stereo system, the ULTIMEA has you covered. Plus, with 250W peak power, it’s more than powerful enough to fill the room with sound, even for larger spaces. The design is sleek and modern, fitting seamlessly under my TV without taking up too much space. It’s not bulky, but still packs a punch when it comes to audio. And I do have to mention how much I appreciate the app control – it’s intuitive, and it allows me to fine-tune settings like volume and sound modes without getting up from the sofa.If you’re looking for a soundbar that does it all – excellent sound, easy setup, and a great price – the ULTIMEA 5.1ch Soundbar is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended

  13. Customer Review

I recently reviewed a 5.1 system and that was pretty good, the sound was good and it worked pretty well, but it was lacking a bit of oommpphh, this 7.1 system promised, and delivered some serious sounds.Firstly the configuration was easy to set, Ias mentioned I had recently set up the 5.1 system and this one was just a simple case of switching devices and providing additional connections and space for the front 2 external speakers. One thing I noticed from the previous use is that you have optical, Aux and bluetooth connectivity and no ARC this means devices can be manually controlled. I prefer the sound from the optical connectivity as my TV supports that directly. Not only do you have the remote control that provides this connectivity you also have an app, which I downloaded but only spent a few mins using. With the 7.1 system I found the sound much fully at the front, whereas before I had to push up the TV volume to fill in a bit as the rear and sub woofer were a bit over powering. The extra 2 speakers do make a big difference to the sound and I’m no reliant on the TV filling in the sound. The app allows management of the sound through the 10 band equaliser function, this allows bigger bass or treble or mid range, down to the type of TV or sports you are watching, there is also many presets some 121 of them for various settings. The sound is great and the app+remote give you plenty of options to manage the sound for your room. The price at the time of review was not listed but the comparison section shows this as £128, a pretty good price for a 7.1 system
