The Tapo C615F KIT is a solar-powered pan/tilt 2K outdoor security camera with an integrated 800-lumen floodlight that can be motion-activated or controlled through the Tapo App. Designed to provide clear visibility for garages, backyards, and front entrances, it combines two built-in spotlights and one main floodlight with a 4000 K color temperature for bright, full-color night vision. An IR night vision mode is also available for discreet, low-light monitoring. Powered by a built-in rechargeable battery paired with the included eco-friendly Tapo A201 solar panel, eliminating the need for wiring or frequent battery changes. The camera features an IP65 weather-resistant design and operates reliably in temperatures from –4 °F to 113 °F and humidity levels between 10% and 90% (non-condensing). The floodlight camera provides a 100° diagonal, 84° horizontal, and 44° vertical field of view, plus a mechanical pan/tilt range of 338° pan and 97° tilt for up to 360° horizontal and 130° vertical coverage. The floodlight itself can be manually adjusted 240° horizontally and 10° vertically. You can schedule automatic 360° scans for full panoramic coverage or patrol key points at set times, while the camera detects motion up to 32 feet away at its highest sensitivity. For active security, the C615F includes a built-in 97 dB siren and bright alarm lights that can be customized to trigger when motion is detected, helping deter unwanted visitors. It connects securely with WPA/WPA2-PSK protocols and is compatible with Tapo H500 and H200 hubs. Certified to CE, FCC, NCC, BSMI, JFT, VCCI, DOE, CEC, NTRA, KC, and RCM standards, the camera measures 5.23 × 3.22 × 6.34 inches and weighs about 1.5 lbs, while the included solar panel measures 6.82 × 4.74 × 0.61 inches and weighs about 0.37 lbs. The kit includes the Tapo C615F camera, Tapo A201 solar panel and bracket, base cover, USB charging and solar extension cables, mounting screws and anchors, template stickers, and a quick start guide. *Data based on the comparison between Tapo C615F KIT and Tapo C610 KIT in a laboratory environment. Great light and camera
This is a truly fantastic camera. It has many options for motion detection and it’s app is mostly good about getting accurate results. The instructions were easy to follow and install (assuming you have power for a mounted light already). The image quality is great. The night boost mode has incredible detail, so it’s well worth your money. My biggest complaint with Tapo cameras is the notifications which will continue to ping if it keeps seeing the object. For example, let’s say a cat comes and sits on the deck. It will ping repeatedly until it stops sensing the cat. They absolutely need to fix that, but otherwise it’s all good.

Functions well, have had zero issues
I love this light and camera. The camera has a very wide view and clear picture. The motion detecting light has many settings so you can get the exact lighting you need. I have mine go on slowly when it senses movement so it doesn’t blind people by going on suddenly. You can change the brightness as well. The app is very easy to use. It was to set up with my wi fi and connect to the app. It looks good on my garage. Video storage is very good. I think it was worth the money, very good quality all around. I can’t speak for the installation ease because I hired someone to install it.

Watch for water ingress around mounting plate
Bought this about 6 months ago and am leaving a review with my findings. This is installed above my garage, on the front of my house, in a location where a previous non-smart spotlight was. Installation was straightforward and I had no issues. However, I did notice that there was a risk of water ingress between the mounting plate and the wall, which I thought was probably fine as I thought perhaps the pressure from the install would be sufficient. This worked great through the spring and summer months. In terms of Alexa integration, AI detection, and value, its definitely checking all the boxes with no recurring fees. However, I noticed intermittent issues every couple of days in the Fall when the camera would just shut off completely and would require a circuit breaker reset to turn back on, which was extremely disruptive. After some googling and experimenting, it turns out that the camera would shut itself off completely after the floodlights went on and off. I was able to reliably reproduce this after a rainy day, and the problem went away after two days of dryness.I suspect water introduced causes a short circuit, and used some exterior sealant around the mounted camera. After the past two weeks of rain (including a rainstorm), I do not see any issues, so I think this was it.Keep in my that TAPO support will charge you to ship the camera back to them for a return/exchange, which is why I did all the troubleshooting myself. The instructions need to call out the risk of water ingress and how to troubleshoot this. Otherwise, good so far for 6 months, lets hope it holds out.

A great security light with fantastic AI detection and functionality without a subscription.
I purchased this security light for my driveway after purchasing and loving the TAPO doorbell. I’ve had it installed for a few months now and feel that its another great addition to my smart home. It shares all of the great features of the doorbell and captures all the animals that walk past my house. The camera provides nice high definition videos that are easy to access via the application. Audio is crisp and understandable. Night vision is terrific and allows me to clearly see what’s happening in the middle of the night. The floodlight is nice and bright and easily adjustable to illuminate exactly where I wanted it to. I appreciate the ability to adjust the floodlight and camera sensitivity separately. The application is excellent and allows me to easily review events, zoom in or slow down videos, and download videos or save pictures to my phone. There is a slew of settings like reducing max brightness of the light or drawing detection zones to redue false positives. Two of the main reasons I purchased the tapo camera are as follows.1. It proides great AI detectopm that allows me to set specific areas for vehicle/movement/pet/person detection and its fairly accurate and quick.2. It offers a lot of functionality without requiring their additional subscription. This was huge for me as other brands severly limit what can be done without having to pay a monthly fee.As a quick note make sure to get a “high endurance” micro SD card for this, or any other camera device, as normal cheap cards can’t handle the frequent write cycles for cameras like this.My only minor quibbles with the unit are that the included mount doesn’t align a tight seal with a standard round juntion box. While I don’t expect this to be an issue since the camera housing is separate from the mounting bracket I was still concerned enough to use an additional small gasket. The only other thing is that night videos always begin with an adible “click” as the floodlight turns on…. Definitely not a big deal but worth mentioning.Overall I’d definitely recommend this camera to a friend and think it offers a ton of value.

Fantastic outdoor camera and floodlight
The Tapo floodlight camera delivers clear video, bright lighting, and reliable motion detection. Setup was quick and easy, and the app works smoothly for live viewing and alerts. Excellent value for the price — highly recommend for home security!

We bought this security floodlight camera at the suggestion of ChatGPT… not crazy expensive and works like a charm… was interesting to see the guy who we requested to install it, when we opened the box and the instructions were in English… being that he was a professional, he got through it with no real issues… and with ChatGPT’s assistance, I was able to kind of help with some *gray areas LOL would definitely recommend it to friends (already have)…

Love that these don’t require a subscription. Clear image and app is simple to use. Motion light works great.

Quickly responds to load videos and the light is really bright. The motion sensor and alarm does get triggered from thick fog and heavy snow though.

Tried a few like this, but like this because it doesn’t require monthly fee. However, it would been nice if this had pan/tilt feature. Also, the sensor seems to be a bit too sensitive. Still a pretty good buy and am happy with it.
