Excellent product for home automation
Excellent product for home automation, it worked perfectly with all my Zegbee devices. Very stable, 100% configurable and flexible.

Great product and great software but limited documentation
I love the device, it does exactly what it advertises provided that you spend some time learning how to use it. This is not an easy device to use and if you are not tech savvy enough, you might have a bad experience.If you get it, the first thing you must do is to update the firmware of the device. The version I got couldn’t update automatically so I had to link my eWeLink account to my IHost, then update it through my phone’s eWeLink app.Once the device is updated, you get the latest software available, like the Matter bridge that allows connecting to voice assistants without Node-Red. You can also use Node-Red but I found that to be a bit time consuming to set up.With the latest software version, I added my Sengled(Zigbee) devices and then bridged it with Amazon Alexa without a single issue.It’s a great device with great software. I do wish that they added better documentation or updated the old tutorials they have. I spent a day trying to set up my devices through Node-Red just to find out I was running an outdated device.

Why no Z-Wave?
This would be a better replacement for something like SmartThings if it had Z-wave support also. If I have to run something else for Z-Wave it defeats the purpose.Hopefully there’s a daughterboard or z-wave stick that you can add-on to make that happen. Or, better yet, maybe the radio is in the unit, just not activated due to lack of software. That would be great, but I highly doubt that, and is conjecture on my part.The thing is – local control of your home is what you need. The whole “rely on our cloud” for home is not a great model.From reading around – I understand that this thing has docker support. So I believe the possibilities of what can be achieved will expand. Hoping the developer community rallies around this thing.Again – not having z-wave means I can’t move everything to this. I have way too many z-wave things. I know zigbee seems to be gaining traction – but there are many z-wave based products for which I haven’t found a reasonable zigbee replacement just yet.Long story short – Sonoff – please figure out how to get Z-wave support on here – or this is DOA, for a lot of us.

Won’t pair to anything
I can’t get it to pair to anything. At all. Hours and hours, I have been trying to connect this to my smart devices to control everything from one place as promised, but so far this has just been a paperweight.

O produto funciona muito bem, foi super fácil de instalar, mesmo pra mim que não tenho nenhuma experiência com produtos inteligentes. Pontos fracos: o sistema é todo em inglês, o que pode dificultar o entendimento de certos comandos. Além disso, não funciona no app do celular, ou pelo menos, eu ainda não conseguir fazer com que funcione.

Questo aggeggino sembra caro, ma in fondo non lo è.. collegato dietro firewall per maggiore sicurezza lavora totalmente offline e anche in assenza di rete riesco ad avere la casa con le automazioni domotiche su protocollo zigbee.Inoltre, compatibile con i prodotti della serie Living Now di Bticino, cosa non scontata con altri hub zigbee, oltretutto il suo hub originale non lavora in locale e nella mia rete wifi mesh soffriva di continue disconnessioni.Inoltre, da non sottovalutare la possibilità di avere un server docker (nei limiti tecnici dell’hardware), che all’occorrenza torna utile (e che si integra alla perfezione con homebridge).EDIT: ad un certo punto con uno degli aggiornamenti software ha smesso di funzionare decentemente, dovevo riavviarlo ogni due giorni per poter avere i dispositivi connessi, in pratica perdeva tutta la rete zigbee. Menomale che Amazon ha una rete di assistenza decente..

El equipo es muy interesante, ya que es muy versátil, dado que puedes trabajar con distintas marcas y plataformas desde un único equipo (Ewelink, Smart Life…etc), aunqe no es sencillo de usar, pero en Internet hay tutoriales que ayudan en una primera puesta en marcha o para proyectos.Te permite controlar tus equipos domoticos de forma local, sin necesidad de hacerlo a través de la App y el servidor de los fabricantes.Ha sido una buena compra y me llegó antes de tiempo, gracias a Amazon Prime

Don’t often write reviews but the current ones on Amazon paint this in too negative a light.This is a fantastic piece of kit and has worked without failing for last 12 months.Works with Sonoff Zigbee devices of which there are many, eg ZBMINIL2 behind light switches lets you automate no-neutral switches in the UK. Easy to group plugs and switches together for whole room automation. All my devices paired first time.Recent updates have added compatibility with other brands, such as Ikea remote plugs and Hue kit. Active discussion forum. There’s a list of compatible Zigbee / Matter devices online if you look.Doesn’t need internet to work which is a plus (robust, good privacy, fast) and most of the devices act as repeaters so you only need 1 main router box.It’s possible to integrate with Alexa or Google Home using Matter but I’ve not tried.After the initial setup, it’s been hassle free and I’d happily buy it again if I was starting over.(Although I might be tempted by Home Assistant on a RaspberryPi but that’s a lot more effort)
