Comfortable, Reliable, Affordable
My doctor suggested I monitor my sleep patterns, but I wasn’t thrilled about wearing a bulky smartwatch to bed. Luckily, a friend recommended the Domhong smart ring as a more comfortable, and much more affordable, alternative to the pricier Oura ring.I’m so glad I gave it a try. The ring is incredibly comfortable to wear all day and night. Plus, the battery life is impressive—it lasts a full week on a single charge. It comes with a compact charger that’s perfect for travel. In addition to sleep tracking, the ring also monitors steps and workouts. I love that it synced easily with my Apple Health app, which allows me to share my data directly with my doctor as needed. It’s a stylish and practical solution for anyone looking to monitor their health without sacrificing comfort.

Some features/readings not working.
About the only thing going for this ring is it looks cool. Aside from that it has very basic options on the app, the battery holding a charge is inconsistent. I’ve had it for two days, the first day the battery depleted to 29%, today it seems to be okay. The big rub however is the heart rate, O2, and sleep modes were DOA. Time and steps is all that works. The ring is properly sized for my finger, not too loose and not too tight so I have no idea why the measurements are not registering. Tried several fingers and could never get O2 or heart rate to register anything.

Low Cost Smart Ring With No Subscription, Great Battery Life, & Decent Charger!
I have been testing a LOT of the lower price smart rings recently, since I want something to track my sleep and oxygen levels at night: this one is my favorite.I like that there is no additional fees or subscription required for the ring.I like the app, since it’s fairly straightforward and user friendly, and also lets you customize what measurements you see first — all you have to do is click the ‘Edit Card’ link at the very bottom, and you can reorder and/or remove the measurement ‘cards’ displayed on the home window. I also really appreciate that the profile (listed as ‘Me’) also shows the current battery percentage, and will warn you to charge when it’s near 20%.My pedometer watch and the ring don’t always agree on my number of steps, but the results are still within 500 steps at the end of the day. The ring does seem to also be still adjusting to my insomniac ways, since it often decides I’ve only gotten 4 hours of sleep (and stops tracking after I have to use the restroom in the early hours) — but it does a reasonable job of tracking my sleep stages until that point. I have also tested the ring’s oximeter readings against the fingertip reader I use, and the two often agree, suggesting accuracy there, too.I don’t know the accuracy of the stress level tracking, or what it’s precisely using to calculate that — possibly a combination of oxygen saturation and heart rate? — but I have come to appreciate having that measurement as well. If the stress seems too high, I can effect that by taking a few slow, deep breaths and remeasuring.I think my favorite feature of this ring over the other smart rings I’ve tested is the slimness of the band. I did find going up one size helpful, since the charge port inside was noticeable on my proper ring size, but it feels and wears like a ring. I’m barely aware of it as I go about my day, I haven’t noticed the burnished metal picking up scratches or dents like other smart rings, and it doesn’t feel like I’m going around wearing a ring sizer from the thickness of the tech.I also really like that this brand has an included ring box charger — much better looking and a better charge connection vs. the cord with a connector end too many comparably priced smart rings offer. I also appreciate the battery life: I’ve been wearing mine for 3 weeks, and just gave it its third charge, and 6-8 days seems to be the norm for this unit.If you want a low pressure, low cost step into wearable tech, I would suggest this one. Charging is easy and surprisingly infrequent; the app is user friendly and lets you track your day through multiple metrics; best of all, no additional money to shell out for subscriptions and continued use.

Disappointed after the first recharge
The ring was fairly easy to get going. The app was very detailed and provided great feedback. Should have got a size bigger due to hand swelling some days. Husband like it as it wasn’t as restrictive as a watch. Biggest downfall is when we recharged it, it wouldn’t connect again with the app. Tried everything so my husband gave up on it.

Surprisingly Good, needs some break-in time
I wanted to track my sleep patterns and didn’t want to spend the money to buy a Samsung or Oura ring. I wear a Samsung Watch 7 and sometimes wear it to bed but it was a little uncomfortable. When I first got this I was dubious about the results. I put it on and synced it while I was eating dinner and had 130 steps before I stood up.Over the next week, however it settled in and has been within a few hundred steps of my watch. Pulse Ox has been dead on with a finger-mounted meter and the heart rate is also well within the margin of error between the ring and my watch. For a few days I wore the ring and the watch to sleep. The ring seemed off the first couple days (it would count time laying in bed watching TV as asleep when the watch didn’t) but similarly got better over the course of a few days. It should be noted I’m wearing it on my non-dominant ring finger. It would probably be even more accurate on my index finger and with a more snug fit.The black looks decent and seems to be holding up well. No issues with rain or washing my hands.Battery life is around four days. I throw it on the charger every 2-3 days while I’m in the shower and I’ve never gotten close to going dead.I wear a size 9 ring according to the Samsung ring sizer. I measured the way the description recommends and it said I was a size 12. That turned out to be too big and I exchanged for the 9 which fits well.

Great Ring!
Got his for my brother and he absolutely LOVES it he also has an Apple Watch and he says they are actually pretty accurate! Fits comfortably! Easy to function! Tracks his sleep and heart rate and does so much more! Definitely worth it if your not wanting to spend to much money. It’s definitely a great product!

Keep looking
Partner and I each purchased these. One lasted two months, the other just shy of six months. Both failed in exactly the same way. (The protective layer over the clock eventually gives away and then it stops charging). While there are some neat features it just does not make sense to purchase this when it is bound to fail soon after purchase. Just not soon enough to return.
