Great monitor at an affordable price
My wife needed a monitor for when she works from home so we decided to check out this spectre monitor. Works great and has pretty good picture quality for when I play video games. We bought it twice so she had more windows open while working. Highly recommended

Good Monitor
I needed a large monitor to support video making. Wow! 27″ is much bigger in real life that in a picture. Plus, I bought two of them thinking ai could do twice the work. I rarely use the second monitor, but zip expect to as I become more proficient with design. The speakers are not that loud, but I use headphones anyway. Picture quality is awesome. I like them a lot.

Good monitor for the price
As others have mentioned, while not “ideal” this monitor is good for the price (I paid less than $70 US when I purchased my monitor).I was previously using an aging 23 inch TV as my “monitor”. However, that TV was in the process of dying, so I found this monitor on Amazon. After a few minutes of setup, the monitor worked to provide video and audio to both my computer (a Raspberry Pi) and my XBox series S (both devices connected via an HDMI switch I have). While this monitor is not what I would call “perfect”, it does do a decent job of meeting all of my “must have” needs. In my ideal world, I would have liked the monitor control buttons to be on the front (for example on the bottom of the bezel) where they would have been more easily reachable, instead of the awkward action of moving your hand to the rear of the monitor every time you want to adjust the monitor (even when that adjustment is just raising or lowering the audio volume). Also, even with an “external speaker” (which I have) the sound isn’t great. Still the video is decent and the sound is functional, so I have little complaints on the lack of “premium features” on this “budget monitor”.NOTE: One thing I did find out (from experimentation with my monitor) is that you can turn this monitor on/off with an external switch that you plug the monitor’s power adapter into. This is handy, as you can position that external switch to be easy to reach, preventing you from needing to reach around to the back of the monitor to use the official monitor power button.NOTE: When I first tried this monitor with my XBox, I was getting an annoying buzz on the audio. However, I eventually tracked this problem down to the XBox audio settings. Apparently my old TV had some support for “Dolby Stereo”, and so I had previously enabled that audio option in my XBox. The problem was when I switched to this monitor (which lacks Dolby audio), there was a mismatch between what audio the XBox was trying to send and what this monitor could accept. Once I realized that was the problem, it was a simple matter to go into the XBox audio settings and tell the console to only send basic uncompressed stereo to the monitor (and the buzz problem immediately went away).

Good Monitor for the Price
This monitor is good except for the fact that there are small speakers in the back. The sound isn’t good. You will have to connect speakers to it then the sound is normal.

Good general use monitor
Aside from the incredibly annoying RED SCREEN OF SCEPTRE!!! I have to endure when powering on the monitor, no bad pixels, decent contrast, and a useful connector array at rear. I’m not a gamer, but it works fine in everyday use. Power consumption is no too bad.

Sceptre Quality, Sceptre Pricing
As usual with Sceptre, this is a good quality monitor for the price. I’ve had many over the years, and they tend to last years, but not forever. The two I’ve had before lasted quite a long time before one completely died and the other had layers of pixels across the bottom take forever to straighten up and work correctly. So this one is replacing the latter. This monitor so far is great. Thin bezels, quality display, nice stand, mostly easy to set up… But while trying to attach the neck to the back of the monitor, the neck portion didn’t want to fully screw into place. Resulting in the display wanting to fall right off when stood up. After some screwing and unscrewing the screws into the metal portion, I was able to create a good threading allowing the screws to fully screw into place. So other than that, this is a great monitor and helps to solidify Sceptre as the King of budget displays.

Great product, the visuals are amazing. I use this monitor for gaming and it runs smoother than my tv. What sets this monitor aside from most monitors is that it has an input audio and output audio source which is pretty awesome because I can just plug my headphones into the monitor and hear everything clearly. The audio on its own is not the greatest without headphones as I’m used to the surround sound system on my tv, however if you put headphones into the monitor, the sound is perfect. In terms of the audio without headphones, I had difficulty trying to distinguish where enemies were during games based on their footsteps, however when I put headphones in, I was able to properly distinguish where people were. So I’m conclusion, it’s an amazing product and definitely worth your money, but if you’re gonna use it for gaming, make sure you have headphones or another audio input !!
