Excellent Quality
Great picture quality and a very wide view. Flood light is better than the Ring I replaced. Definitely a big upgrade from what I had previously. Love the 24/7 recording you get with the Reolink NVR and no annual fee is much better than what I was paying through the Ring program.

Best flood light camera
This is the best camera purchase I have made thus far. Setup easy with NVR, quality exceptional, functionality has all areas of need covered. Drove up to home at night and flood lights lit up bright then return to dimness level I set. Picture quality beyond my expectations even at night. Thank you Reolink.

Great floodlights without subscription
After installing the Reolink Elite Pro Floodlight PoE, I immediately noticed how solid and well-built it feels. The setup process was straightforward once the PoE cable was in place, though anyone without existing wiring should expect a bit more effort. Once connected, the app recognized the camera quickly and the initial configuration took only a few minutes. The video quality is one of the biggest highlights. The dual-lens system provides a true 180-degree view of my yard, and the 16MP resolution makes the image sharp enough that I can zoom in and still recognize faces and cars. There is a slight seam where the two lenses stitch together, especially when someone walks right through the middle, but it isn’t distracting and doesn’t get in the way of daily use.At night, the camera really shines. The built-in floodlights are extremely bright and light up the entire driveway when motion is detected. It switches to color night vision smoothly when the floodlights activate, and the infrared mode still looks clear when the lights are off. The ability to adjust the brightness and warmth of the floodlights makes it easy to dial in the exact look you want. The AI detection has been surprisingly reliable. It does a good job of telling the difference between people, vehicles, and animals. After adjusting my detection zones, it stopped sending unnecessary alerts while still catching everything important. One of the most useful features has been the local AI video search. Instead of scrubbing through hours of footage, I can simply search for “person” or “vehicle” and the app instantly pulls up the relevant clips. It works well and, best of all, doesn’t require a subscription. The two-way audio is clear enough for quick conversations with delivery drivers or visitors. With PoE powering the camera around the clock, the 24/7 recording feels stable and dependable. Since everything is stored locally, there are no monthly fees hanging over your head. There are a couple of things to keep in mind. The camera requires enough PoE power, so anyone using an older or low-power switch may run into issues with the floodlights or occasional reboots. The ultra-wide view also reduces the vertical coverage slightly, which makes proper placement important. And because the camera and floodlight unit are fairly large, it helps to plan your mounting spot so it looks balanced on the exterior wall.Overall, the Reolink Elite Pro Floodlight PoE feels like a serious, professional-grade security upgrade. The video quality is excellent, the lighting is powerful, and the AI features make reviewing footage far easier than with most cameras. Once installed, it delivers a reliable and comprehensive sense of coverage that’s hard to beat, especially without the burden of subscription fees.

First thing I wan to mention is that there’s 2 versions of the Reolink Elite Pro Floodlight : PoE & WiFi.The big difference is that the WiFi version can replace your current floodlight and be hardwired to the existing wirering to power the camera. The PoE (Power of Ethernet) has to be powered via ethernet cable which then is connected to a either a PoE switch, a NVR or a PoE injector. So make sure you get the one that will fit your needs. Now this is like a 2-in-1 product because it combines a security camera and a floodlight. I’ve been using Reolink camera’s for year and I love the balance of quality & affordability of their products. The Elite Pro has 2 cameras giving you a very wide field of view, ideally I would suggest installing it on a central point to get maximum coverage of your property. Installation was easy, all hardware if provided, I suggest adding the camera to the APP and testing it out before doing the final installation, that way if you run into any issues it’s much easier to troubleshoot sitting at your desk rather than up on a ladder. I personally had no issues adding the camera to my Android Reolink APP or to my Reolink NVR. The flood light is very bright and both the brightness and colour temperature (3000K to 6000K) can be adjusted. The WiFi version is a little brighter (3000 lumens) than the PoE (2800 lumens). The image quality is just superb, and with PoE you will always get the best possible speeds and won’t have to worry about WiFi signal strength. My 10 years of personal experience with Reolink is that the overall quality of their products is very good, I’ve had some that still worked after 4 harsh Canadian winters and I only changed them to upgrade them for better newer ones. The camera detection is good, and the smart (people, pet, vehicle) detection also seems pretty accurate. There’s a lot of customizations you can do on the APP, like tweak image settings, setting up recording schedules or recording zones (include or exclude zones). Notification are rapid, I get them in about 10 seconds. There’s a siren that you can toggle ON/OFF and you can even customize it with a 5 second audio clip via the APP.With Reolink for recording and viewing the camera you have a lot of flexibility, first because you are not tied to/force to pay for a subscription cloud service. Yest it’s an options, but you can also record locally on a microSD card which I highly suggest you do. In addition to that, you can also get a Reolink NVR or Hub to record your video to.One other way is to use the windows software and record directly on a computer. You can obviously view, record videos, take snapshots on the APP itself which gets saved on your phone. Although you get a very wide horizontal field of view, the vertical field of view is only about 60 degrees. Also, the speaker/sound quality of the 2 way talk isn’t great.Besides that, it’s a great camera if you’re already in the Reolink ecosystem you’re going to love it and if you’re new to them it’s a solid security camera with great features and a great overall value.

This floodlight is excellent: I’ve been eagerly awaiting something exactly like this for a long time and had worries that PoE wasn’t enough juice for a floodlight… but it is! This does a phenomenal job of replacing the older Reolink duo we had in the garage and does a great job of illuminating the area. The camera quality is excellent: clear, clean picture and the stitching, while present, is well done and not an issue at all.We have about a dozen Reolink cameras set up, connected to a NVR, and I think it’s important to stress that the key benefit of Reolink is the excellent ecosystem. Tons of different camera types to choose from (hardwired, poe, solar) and doorbells so it’s versatile and all in the same app. This, and the others, all play well with tons of smart home ecosystems, especially home assistant where you can get crazy granular with it.

This camera is fantastic, I got it to keep an eye out on my backyard, with the dual lens and super wide viewing angle, it can cover my entire yard with ease. This is a PoE camera which is great as it does not depend on WiFi signal and I find provides a much more stable connection, especially outside where the WiFi signal is not as good. My only issue with the camera is that I wish it included a PoE injector, especially considering the price of the camera. I understand they expect people to use this with their Reolink NVR, and I may add one of those later on, but currently don’t have this setup. I ended up having to buy an inexpensive PoE injector to get it up and running.Outside of that, setting up was quick and easy. It includes a study bracket and all the hardware required. Since it is PoE, only a single wire comes out from the camera which is great. The image quality on this camera is incredible, I have not used another security camera with as clear an image. You can really zoom into the image while keeping the image crystal clear. The Reolink app is also pretty great, setting everything up is easy and straight forward. It has all the expected features like motion detection, 24/7 recording, local recording with a micro SD card (not included), night vision, and event recording. The floodlight is also super bright and provides a lot of angle adjustments. I can easily light up my entire yard at night which is great for my dogs using the bathroom and as added security and deterrent. I was also very happy to see it has a slider to change the light colour from bright white to a nice warm colour.Overall I love this camera, it is super sturdy, has excellent image quality, easy to use, includes bright floodlights, and works off of PoE making it more stable. It is not a cheap security camera but well worth the higher cost for a quality product.

If you have a Reolink NVR then this Floodlight PoE security camera is a breeze to install (provided you can run the wiring). I replaced a regular floodlight with this camera, so I had to run an Ethernet wire to the box, but because it’s in an easily accessible location, that wasn’t a problem. The camera is fully compatible with the Reolink NVRs so it really is just plug and play. The whole configuration takes just a few minutes.I have 3 other dual lens Reolink cameras (without flood lights) and I really like the wide coverage, although one small complaint that also applies to this unit is that the vertical field of view is really limited compared to standard security cameras. Definitely something to consider – for example if you have a longer driveway the vertical field of view of this camera might not be able to offer coverage all the way to the edge of the street. It’s definitely a drawback, but for me the horizontal 180 degrees image is more important. The floodlight on this camera is insanely bright compared to my original halogen one. With the light on, the video feed is daylight crisp. If you want a bit less conspicuous system, then the camera is also able to use the build in IR lights for night vision recording.Footage quality from these 16 MP Reolink cameras is very good, but because the field of view is so wide, digital zoom can only do so much. Still, really no complaints, everything in the field of view is crystal clear. The 180 degrees field of view might not be ideal for every situation, but I really like it and for me this floodlight is a fantastic upgrade to my mini security system.

It is funny because I was in the middle of replacing my floodlights when this became available to me. I have plenty of Reolink cameras hooked up via PoE and am quite familiar with the process. This was a pretty simple install and everything linked up without any issues. Excellent recording quality as always from Reolink and the communication to my phone from the NVR is practically instantaneous.I use continuous recording on all of my devices hooked up to the NVR, so I never miss a beat. If you just opt for recording only when motion is detected, you will miss the first second or two of the recording, as is normal with all security cameras with that feature. The wide view video recording is also pretty great. It doesn’t seem to cover exactly 180°, wall to wall, but it is pretty close. The image quality is pretty decent but I do have some issues making out plates and faces from a distance of over 15 feet from the camera. The plates are not eligible at all sometimes, depending on movement. The motion detection is great and always turns on my lights whenever I come into the driveway. It also sends me alerts right away. The install was simple and straight forward and the quality of everything is great. I do recommend!
