great product, fair price
Bought three of these units for the house and they work perfectly. No problem with wifi connectivity, easy to install. I had the first one up in about 30 minutes. 180 Degree coverage is exactly as advertised. Lights are bright, no latency on recording, and there is a wide range of features to suit everyone’s needs. I now have every inch of my property covered. I like the feature that allows me to determine where I want alerts in the yard. Also like that I can disable vehicle alerts for back and side yard, allowing me to use that for garage and front of the house. Great price, super value for the money.

Best $$ I’ve Spent – Took Me 30 Minutes to Install!
Honestly, I was a little nervous about installing this myself, but WOW, it was so much easier than I thought! Replaced my old floodlight in literally 30 minutes and I’m not even handy. The mounting holes lined up perfectly with where my old light was, so I didn’t have to drill anything new. Just turned off the breaker, unscrewed the old light, connected three wires (same colors as before), and screwed this baby in. The hardest part was getting up the ladder lol. Even the app setup was super easy – just scan a QR code and you’re good to go.Now for the cool part – that 180-degree camera is AMAZING. I can see my entire driveway and front yard, no blind spots at all. My old light just sat there doing nothing, but now I get alerts on my phone when someone comes by, and I can check the camera anytime. The light itself is way brighter than my old one too.One minor thing – it does have a voice announcement when it powers up that’s a bit loud, but honestly it’s not a big deal since it only happens once during setup or if the power goes out. Doesn’t bother me at all.I was going to hire someone to install it and they quoted me like $200 for labor. So glad I did it myself and saved that money. If I can do this, trust me, anyone can.Totally worth it. Should’ve upgraded years ago!

It’s a good camera but lacks 1 important feature (also limited display resolution)
It does have Smart Detection with optional Motion Marking. However that is nothing compared to Digital Tracking found in very few of their other cameras. If this one had Digital Tracking it would be 5 stars, literally the best camera you can buy. If you’re looking for that best of the best feature, search “Reolink Trackmix”.The wifi antennas and transmit/receive capability are excellent.VERY IMPORTANT – The display modes are great if you use it on an Ultrawide monitor but sadly limited squished view on normal 16:9 normal monitors. It’s setting options are 5120×1552 & 4096×1248.Setup is easy, keep your phone close during setup. It has a very limited bluetooth distance.

Great Quality Video and Bright Spotlights – VERY Wide Field of View
This camera works great! The picture quality is extremely good (assuming you have a good Wi-Fi connection). It has a VERY WIDE field of view! 180 degrees – So keep that in mind. It’s great for above a door or at a corner as it captures very wide angles, but if you’re mounting up high to trying to capture something far away it won’t work great for that.Setup was very easy and the connection seems stable. I can view the camera very quickly from my phone or computer using the REOLINK apps on each. The phone app works from anywhere (remotely) as long as the camera is online and has a solid internet connection. The apps have a decent amount of options, but are missing a few things that would make it even better (custom zones would be nice, as would a “default zoom” if you don’t need true full 180 deg). The flood lights are extremely bright, but you can configure them to tone down the brightness and color tempature (white vs “warm” yellowish). It has 3 different “smart” detections built in: Person, Vehicle, or just Motion. These actually work pretty well. The phone app will notify you of each detection type (ex: “Person detected by Backdoor camera”) and the notification happen very quickly. Usually within a few seconds of the activity.

Garbage.
This floodlight deserve zero stars. This is the biggest garbage that I bought. They stand of settings, but nothing works on same settings they will trigger on mosquito and other day they don’t see even car going through. no matter what you do in the setting this motion detection don’t won’t work at all. Different story is decent quality picture. I would definitely not recommend this to anybody to even bigger Enemies.

Easy setup, modern interface, no subscription hassling the end user, fantastic 180 view.
Outstanding camera, you can set tripwires, and zones and have the ability to detect humans, vehicles, and animals simultaneously, unlike the Amcrest cameras. A BIG plus there. As a matter of fact the modern easy to use interface combines with a super easy setup, and the best part is they don’t pester you for subscriptions. I may switch over to these cameras from Amcrest altogether. It uses the 5GHZ band another huge plus. Rare for cameras to do that.My only complaint about this camera is the top to bottom view is not as much as I would prefer and night vision at a distance could be better, but still pretty good.

I absolutely love this camera and security light combo. So much customization possible with custom zones and alerts. Works out of the box with home assistant. The seller is also great. I requested a price match when it went on sale after I purchased and got the refund of the price difference.

This is my first Reolink cameras after using other brands for many years. I just want to have a robust home security camera system without needing to pay subscription. After extensive research online, Reolink seems to strike the balance of cost, functionality and the ability to support many protocols (RTSP, ONVIF, FTP etc.).This Floodlight camera has so exceeded my expectation! Prompt notifications, excellent image quality even at night and the local AI seems to work well for object differentiation. For now I am using the onboard SD card storage. My next step is to self host Home Assistant for remote storage for redundancy. My understanding is that Reolink Home Hub is alos a good option. But as a geek, I much prefer self hosting my servers.I was also very impressed by Reolink post sales customer service. I was under the impression that a 16AWG power cable was included (based on a few YouTube unboxing and reviews). I emailed Reolink’s customer service when I found out such cable not in the box. The issue was resolved to my satifaction within a few days!I am very happy with this camera, so much so that I am already planning on my next Reolink cameras to replace my existing system. All in all, I higly recommend this product.

Great floodlight and camera. Resolution is awesome on the camera. And the lights are very bright. You’re able to change the ‘warmth’ of the light to adjust your preferences of what type of light you are wanting. Able to have up to a 512 gb micro sd card to locally record. No subscription needed to access your device and view recordings. A nice feature is on the app it will show you is the movement a person, vehicle or animal that triggered the alert, even before you click on the video.I has all sorts of great features like push notifications, zones and smart detection. You can set it up to either alert you when an object is detected, or alert with an image to quickly see what is in range. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the alerts and also choose min/max sizes to be alerted of.Install was very easy, gave you all the basic tools minus the screwdriver to attach, but has all the screws and connectors you may need. The baseplate has a built in level which makes mounting the light level so easy. Also has a notch which allows the light to hang by a loop attached to the light such that yore not having to juggle things as you’re wiring things up.Be sure to follow instructions, it tells you to connect the system via USB C and add it to your Reolink system before mounting it. You could probably do this after, but always nice to make sure it works prior to install.1 less star only because at night, the IR night vision will go off for about 1 second before the flood light goes on, so you have a momentary black screen where you can’t see anything. Not major but just a minor inconvenience.Strongly recommend this system to replace all of a person’s floodlights for a great camera/light combo!
