2273lux at the desk, base has a soft rubber pad
Ween you turn it on, do not panic. It starts at about midrange. Tap the + and it will crank up to 2372 lux at the desk when I had it about 15inches up. High enough that it was not going to get in my way, but not too high that you can see the underside of the light. The base is heavy and stays put. It has a soft rubber base that won’t slide easily, but still moves around. Buttons respond with a very soft beep that wouldn’t disturb a library.There is an annoying label on the top, but I think a sharpie or a nice vinyl cut will cover that over. The LEDs are nicely spread out and diffused so even looking at the light there are no hotspots.

Great touch lamp
This is a great touch lamp that faces down so as to not blind you while you turn it on and use it. It’s great for reading, drawing and many other things. The timer is a very limited feature of 45 min and only 45 min. It’s better than no timer though. Its plug in though doesn’t come with the wall adapter for some reason. Overall though, it looks nice and the downward adjustable light is convenient.

Nice bright light!
This desk lamp is very useful, super bright if you want it to be, super adjustable, and looks nice, depending on your style. I like that there are different temperatures as well as brightness levels. My wife uses it for doing her eyebrows and I use it just to see stuff better.
