For the price
Great product it could be made a little bit better material wise. The connectivity of the wireless wi-fi it’s not the best you need to have real good internet and very close modem to work good the notifications ain’t the best they lag a little bit

Half and half
Well they light up the yard really good but can’t use my phone to see anything unless I’m at home. Which defeats the purpose of having it because the phone and the system have to be on the same Wi-Fi in order to see anything makes no sense. And will not work with 5G Network. Picture quality is great. I love the size. It’s really easy to set up

Helps keep the bad guys away without having to lift a finger – super bright, can check from phone
This floodlight camera was an awesome addition to our perimeter security system, we currently use in our backyard. The 2K video’s super clear, and the five lights are bright, light up everything. Motion detection triggers the siren, which is loud. Color night vision’s cool, and I can talk through the 2-way audio. Excellent, affordable way to increase security around my home, love that I can check it on my phone. Easy to install, but needs a good wire setup. If you want a brightly lit smart camera for home security, this is one you might want to check out.

Olufus Floodlight cam
Cheap piece of “junk”… it doesn’t even have its own app. You have to use a generic “Smart Life” app, from China (written in Chinese), with way too many security permissions. Why does a floodlight need access to all my contacts, system logs and full system diagnostics..? From there, they can gain access to everything in my home system network… computers, cellphones, tablets, even my TVs… And, you have to pay a high monthly fee, just for the most basic settings. It also won’t work unless I give it “FULL Access” to all my photos, precise location, etc…Why..? It’s just a “floodlight cam”… The biggest problem is that it can’t connect to the app, constantly “attempting to connect”, and “Retry?” I reached out to Tech Support multiple times, only available via email, and email support won’t even “Send” unless you attach the “System Logs” and “Photos”, as an attachment to the email. Otherwise it won’t send… they now have “All” my iPhone info, and I have yet to hear back from them. Not a peep from tech support (over four weeks)… All this headache inducing stress, just for a floodlight..? Really..? I have spent hours rebooting, reinstalling, resetting, trying other apps, different devices-iOS, android, PC, etc… just not worth the time, energy or money… They are not selling you a light, they are extorting you for a monthly subscription… Too bad, b/c all I think they really need is an app that works with this light… That’s it.One last thing… Light goes on/off at specified “time”, but no setting to turn on when motion is detected. The one setting I really wanted.I will update this review if they reach out to me and fix/address these issues.

I’ve used it to talk to delivery drivers and even ward off a suspicious visitor once very handy. A generally good camera for the price point if you are willing to pay for online storage. I’m not.
For most people this would work fine if you are willing to subscribe to/purchase online video storage. While you can view the camera without this, it is pretty useless without storage. The good (main selling point) for this camera is the floodlight feature. These lights are bright, and should work well. I haven’t tried it outdoors due to other issues outlined below.I had several problems with this camera. First, it does NOT allow network passwords that contain certain special characters (it definitely does not support the backslash, probably others). The problem was not readily apparent. It took a lot of time and trouble to get around this. Unless I want to change my wireless password (for 25+ devices) it just isn’t possible to connect. This is a rookie software developer error that should never happen.Second (and I’m going to get very technical here) the camera UI says it supports the ONVIF camera specification. This is really necessary if you want to use local computer storage for your videos. If you try to use this specification the camera responds basically saying “yes, I support it, and here is how to use it”. Unfortunately, if you try to actually use it, the process fails. I hate it when a device flat out lies to me.I have used 20+ cameras that support ONVIF, and in fact I have written a utility that uses it for my other 6 currently active cameras. It works fine for those, just not this one. There is no excuse for this. If you don’t support it, fine. This is a low costs camera, and sometimes you get what you pay for. Just don’t say one thing and do another.
