Reliable extra eyes for a busy house
This little NGTeco camera has turned into a handy set of extra eyes in the house, especially when my nephew is tearing around the living room with the dog. The 4MP picture is clear enough that I can see if he’s quietly reading on the couch or quietly plotting something with the markers, which are two very different situations in my house. The two-way video and audio make it easy to say a quick hello from the kitchen without shouting down the hall.The one-touch call button and 2.8-inch screen are surprisingly useful for quick check-ins when I’m in my home office with the door closed. My nephew figured out how to tap the call button on his own, so now he “calls” to show me his Lego creation while I can see and hear him clearly on the screen. I appreciate the physical lens cover too – when I’m home and don’t need it, I just slide it shut and know the camera isn’t watching anything.Some folks might not love that you need to rely on WiFi and an app to get the most out of it, but that’s not a drawback for me since my home network is already set up and stable. Motion detection alerts are helpful without being too jumpy once dialed in, and the dual-band WiFi has kept the video smooth so far. Compact, practical, and easy to live with, this has become the quiet little guardian of my living room chaos.

Very Good Indoor Camera for Peace of Mind with the Elderly
I love the NGTeco Two Way Video Calling Camera, Elderly Baby Pet Monitor 4MP HD Indoor, Dual-Band WiFi (2.4/5GHz), 2.8″ Screen, One-Touch Call, Motion Detection & Physical Lens Cover.Great indoor camera to be able to keep an eye on my 80+ year old Mom while I’m at work. Peace of mind camera to help see if she’s ok and to be there in case of falls. I love that this has night vision on it as well. Good privacy features, too where you can slide the bar over the camera lenses. There’s a lot of features and things you can do with this camera. Easily sets up anywhere in the house.

Worth it.
At the time of ordering, this camera was $39. Personally, I really like it, especially that it works with an app. I found it functions well, and its easy to use. The video is good, no lag and a clear picture. I haven’t had any connectivity issues, nor any malfunctions with the audio, everything has been clear.I find the quality and functionality are both great for the price. I would recommend this camera, it’s definitely worth the price.

Great cameras features, but subscription plan is confusing.
PROS: Easy to install, clear images with lighting and in darkness, response time is very good in the app. Motion detection saves a snapshot of the event. Can manually save a snapshot or a video.CONS: Cloud storage plans are confusing. Maximum capacity of an inserted SD card is too limiting. Motion detection only captures a snapshot, not video.Very pleased with the physical camera and it’s integration with the app. Using the Android app without any complications. The cloud storage is confusing. Have a NGTeco sim card exterior camera and have to purchase both network access and cloud storage. Could not add this camera to the existing cloud storage plan. Like the camera and using it with a SD card.

Super sensitive and accurate, easy to set up with the app
I love this camera for its accuracy and sensitivity to motion, but it’s also nice that you can cover the lens for privacy. It connected almost immediately to my phone and I was able to customize the settings exactly how I want. I do wish the cord was longer so I could put it higher up, but it’s actually perfect in my office because I can keep an eye on my cats and make sure that they don’t break anything. If I can find a way to extend the cable, I would like to use this to monitor my entryway. The picture and sound quality is fantastic and it does exactly what I need it to do – keeps me apprised of any unusual sightings and lets me monitor my home all from the comfort of my phone.

Perfect for the Grandparents
Got this soon after we got our daughter. I say got because she was adopted, not our child from birth. We had to wait about 2 years on a list to get an infant, so we opted for a 6-year-old we could adopt right away. We realized a six-year-old would have some problems adjusting to an entirely new environment, so having this in her room helps us stay abreast of any issues she may be having, especially with sleeping at night. It works great, and the picture is clear, and the signal remains strong. I’m sure it would be a great addition to an infant’s room, or, for that matter, an elderly person’s room to monitor.

It works and the video quality is decent, but the app can be a little frustrating at times. Setup took longer than expected and the connection drops occasionally. Not terrible, but there’s room for improvement.
