These lightbulbs are very interactive and fun to use
I have a few RBG light bulbs, and really enjoy the lighting effects that I can control with a remote control, but my familiarity of those bulbs did not prepare me for the vast effects of these bulbs. It does come with a remote, but the app gives sooooo many different color combinations, and effects, that the remote just ends up being quaint.It was super easy connecting the app to wifi and adding the bulbs to the app, and it was so much fun going through all the settings. There is a setting for music, as well as a bunch of different preprogrammed light effects, like lightening and sunflowers.The app is easy to navigate, and the bulbs are responsive. Each bulb can be programmed differently. There is a setting to schedule when the lightbulbs turn on and off, which could come in handy if I go out of town, or if I want the lights to turn on before I get home from work.The regular white lightbulb color is nice and bright, and the RBGs are bright and very rich in color.I don’t have Alexa or Google Assistant, but I would guess that would add another layer of how cool these lightbulbs are.

Good Price, Not SUPER Bright, Ok setup
I set these up and the first bulb went great.You have to download the app, but once that is done you use Alexa to control it – we’ll get to that.Ok, you download the app and create an account, the activation email goes to junk, so I had to go digging and I did not seem to get any email until I requested a second email and then I got both.I started with 2 bulbs and when attempting to connect the first one went great, the second on failed to connect and eventually I just swapped it out for a different bulb deciding to deal with it later. So that was frustrating.The colors are nice and deep, but the lights themselves are not super bright.When you finish adding the bulbs you can easily connect with Alexa, it takes you thru the process within the app making it super user friendly.Overall for 25$ you get 4 bulbs which is a huge step in the right direction from the early days of smart bulbs, so that is good.I like these well enough, not my favorite but also not bad, great for adding a little mood to your space.

The light of my life…
I was clueless about the use of these lightbulbs… It took me about 1 hour to complete 4 lamps due to me “NOT” being tech savvy. So if you are “tech savvy” it will take you “NO TIME” at all to complete this process in record time… I hooked up the bulbs via “ALEXA”, and it was easy after that to command Alexa to: light-up, dim the room, and shut-off/cut-on etc. I had fun discovering all its usages, the functioning process was pretty fair & easy to navigate… now I must get use to lighting a room with my voice instead of my actual hands… genius! It’s a habit that I do welcome to get use to… I’m amazed & satisfied with the out come. “WE WINN”

Considering the price, these are quite good!
I have Hue lights throughout my office, and I love them. But these lights are a full set for less than the price of *one single Hue bulb*. If you’re not planning on having dozens of them, the lack of a hub is fine, possibly even more convenient for some people.The app is simple and a bit quirky, but it does what it needs to do. You can schedule different colors, which is a good way to improve your sleep, and it’s easy enough to jump in there and change the color on the spot.The lights are not super bright. I think they work well as accent lights used in lamps and things. I wouldn’t replace my overhead lights with them.Just make sure you’re not connecting to your 5Ghz network. Most routers will offer both. If yours is like mine, and both networks have the same name, just try one, and switch to the other if it fails to connect.

Amazing colors. Good app.
The app is pretty good, has a lot of settings for the light, can even set it to play with your music and a lot of other modes as well. It wouldn’t sync with the app I use to control my other lights, so it appears you need to have this specific app. It didn’t connect to wifi at first but after a reset it worked.The light modes and range of colors are really good and vibrant. The brightness is probably no brighter than a 60w bulb.
