good camera with good audio
The Logitech Full HD 1080p Webcam is a versatile and high-quality webcam that is perfect for professionals who need to communicate and collaborate remotely. With advanced image quality, auto light correction, and auto-framing, this webcam provides me with an outstanding video conferencing experience. This has fixed all the audio and camera issues that I face in a year of remote work. One of the features of this webcam is its full resolution, which provides clear and crisp image quality. I did not want too much details in 4K giving too much details in remote work, so this was perfect for me. This was also higher than my macbook’s 720p. This is perfect resolution for me.The auto light correction feature works well for me w/ zoom. even in low light environments. The webcam adjusts to the lighting in your environment to provide the best possible image quality. I had severe issues with zoom previously, due to sun and early morning/evening calls. The auto-framing feature, centers the camera on you, even as you move around during meetings. This allows you to stand up or move around without worrying about leaving the frame. I personally have this feature turned off.The Show Mode feature lets you tilt the webcam up or down with one hand, allowing you to present or hide your work or other objects on your desk. This is perfect for remote presentations or demonstrations. The dual noise reduction microphones ensure that you are heard clearly, even in noisy environments. The noise canceling mics filter out background sound during calls, ensuring that your voice is the focus of the conversation. To protect your privacy between meetings, the webcam features an integrated privacy shutter that can be rotated to completely block the camera. This is a valuable feature for professionals who are concerned about their privacy. With a 90-degree field of view, this webcam provides extra space to move around or have a second person on the camera with you. The Logi Tune software allows you to zoom in or out to a full 90º width that I use.Overall, the Logitech Full HD 1080p Webcam is an outstanding choice for me who needs high-quality video and audio for remote meetings. Its advanced features, including auto light correction, auto-framing, and dual noise reduction microphones, make it a standout option for me.

Works great with Microsoft Teams and Mac
Purchased the Brio 501 after having issues with the Logitech C920x and Microsoft Teams. The C920x is a great webcam, however the video would flicker during a Teams call (plugged into a Plugable USB-C docking station over USB-A, then to a 2020 MacBook Pro i7 over USB-C). The flickering did not occur in Zoom, FaceTime, Google Meet or even in Teams when viewing the camera video in device settings, only during a call. After reading several Reddit threads, Apple support and Logitech support sites where several customers were noting this issue without an apparent fix, I returned the C920x and upgraded to the Brio 501.Brio 501 working flawlessly. Purchased a UGreen USB-C to USB-A adapter to plug into my docking station. Same setup as the C920x but zero flickering issues during Teams calls. Video looks great, and the auto adjust on brightness, focus and framing is working perfectly. The auto framing is very helpful as I now do not need to adjust my camera position when I change from standing to sitting at my Varidesk. The auto framing distance (zoom) is also adjustable in the Logi Tune software.Paid an additional $40 over the C920x, but well worth it.

Good Image Quality, Janky Software
It’s expensive, but has great image quality and tuneability compared to my pandemic-era HD webcam, and I like the switchable FOV (90°, 78°, 65°). I also like the lens cover mechanism. The fact that Logitech offers this Amazon-exclusive Brio “Model 501” in a solid flat-black color is another plus, compared to the sparkly/speckly colors sold directly and through other retailers. My only complaint is the Tune software, which is annoying and a bit flaky on Windows 11. For one, it’s a “universal app” that doesn’t follow normal GUI conventions. So you can’t expand it beyond its tiny preview window, which really hinders the image tuning process. And it’s invisible to the task bar and task switcher, so if you accidentally click outside its borders it will be lost in the background with no easy way to recover (unless you configure Windows to display an icon in the System Tray). Finally, it’s not always reliable in saving configuration settings. Fortunately, after first-time setup I shouldn’t have to use this software much.Logitech has plenty of opportunity to release an improved version or a replacement for the Tune software. If they do, the Brio 501 is probably deserving of a 5-star rating.

Great Webcam for Remote Working and Privacy
I’ve been using the Logitech Brio webcam for my remote work, and I’m honestly impressed. The design is sleek and clean, fitting seamlessly with my setup. The Logi Tune app is a great bonus—it’s super easy to use for updating the firmware and customizing camera settings, making sure everything is up to date and personalized for my needs. As someone who’s on video calls all day, the camera and microphone quality are top-notch. My colleagues have commented on how clear my image is, and the audio comes through crystal clear. It’s been a game-changer for all those daily meetings and presentations. One of my favorite features is the twisting privacy shield. It’s such a simple but effective addition, helping put my mind at ease when I’m not using the camera. I can easily block the lens, which is reassuring knowing that malware can’t access my feed if my laptop is exposed.Overall, the Logitech Brio has exceeded my expectations. It’s great value for your money. If you’re working remotely or just need a reliable, high-quality webcam for meetings or streaming, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

I replaced my former Razer Kiyo Pro because it always gave me problems with flickering, the auto white balance was poor, and the huge bundle of intrusive software was annoying overkill. The feature set is similar on this camera, in what I consider to be a sleeker, more modern chassis. The video quality is similar. Which is to say, excellent, including in low light and cross-light situations. The auto-framing is a nice feature the Razer didn’t have. Logitech’s software is more considerate of my system resources, and the in-tray adjustment/preview panel is convenient and quick. No flicker. Rock solid performance. My only disappointment is that (similar to the Razer) the auto white balance tends toward unnatural greens. But overall, I’m very happy I made this switch. And I love the fact that this is made from recycled plastic in a carbon neutral manner. Thank you, Logitech.

Overall a decent webcam. When I first got it, I wasn’t happy with the configuration options provided by the Logitech software. The automated settings out of the box were quite bad for my environment, so I had to manually adjust the white balance (AWB is atrocious on this), contrast, exposure, FOV, gain, etc. The WB was especially frustrating since there’s only an adjustment for temperature but not tint. The fact that the camera can’t sync with Logitech’s own LED lights to set a white balance is infuriating (I have two different models and the camera doesn’t talk to either one, except to turn them on and off). All the products should be designed to work together seamlessly, but they’re not. The software has gotten better with subsequent releases and now I feel quite confident with the picture quality, but it took a long time to get there. The tilt/swivel mechanism is a bit odd, and if you’re swivelling horizontally and place the camera “just so”, the weight of the cord behind the camera will quickly move the camera out of position as soon as you let go.Would I buy again? Not sure TBH.
