Improves Top End of YU2s
I was a little skeptical if I would notice the difference but it definitely improves the sound of the YU2 by angling the tweeter at your head. Quality is good, speakers don’t shake. Overall a little pricey but worth getting.

Also work great to tip speakers down, if speakers are above ear level
These Kanto S2 speaker stands also work great to tip speakers downwards. My Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers are positioned 14″ above my ear level since they sit on the top of a computer roll-top desk, so they need a speaker stand to tip them down, not up. The ProMedia speakers sounded dull with their included stand that tips them upwards. After removing the factory stands, the black Kanto S2 stands securely hold the ProMedia speakers tipping them downwards, even though the speaker bottoms have a curve and would not sit flat on a desk. The S2 stands are very solid and the padding is firm, not cheap foam. The padding protects the speakers and is also on the bottom protecting the desk. There is also a small pad on the center tab. These S2 stands do exactly what I need to tip my speakers downwards. The sound is much improved.I paid 19.99 on Amazon, now (1 month later) they are 29.99. They were definitely worth 19.99, but 29.99 seems a little expensive.

Functional and straightforward
They hold up my Kanto speakers directly angled at my head. No frills or gimmicks here

Solid stands – perfect for the Kanto YU2
So I dig these. Not much to say other than beware they are not adjustable at all. I wasnt sure and didnt really do much research. I love the look and the angle. However, if you have limited headroom (like under my monitor shelf), they dont adjust. It’s totally fine and I am still happy with my purchase. My setup requires the speakers to be slightly outside what I would consider optimal “sound stage” but they still sound great. Love these speakers and just ordered the sub (auditioned these with mostly acoustic music -anything more than that really needs the sub). Good price. Great quality and a perfect fit. Buy them.

A little off – but definitely a step up from the home-rolled solution
I have a pair of M-Audio AV40 studio monitors. I’m no producer; I just wanted a pair of really nice-sounding speakers for my PC. I had been propping them up at an angle using a couple pieces of styrofoam that I cut out of a dry ice cooler. With money burning a hole in my pocket, I started looking around Amazon for something that I could use to do the job a little bit more elegantly. I was also having trouble with the styrofoam sliding around on my desk, and not propping both speakers up at the same angle, etc.I found a lot of very expensive floor stands, I found a few desk stands that were too tall, I found professional foam isolating pads that would angle the speakers at around 10-12 degrees (not enough)… and then I found these. They’re small and understated, they come in black so that they match the rest of my desk setup, and they angle up at 16 degrees. I grabbed a ruler, measured a right triangle with a base of 7″ and a height of 2″ between my speakers and the styrofoam blocks, brushed off my trigonometry, did the inverse tangent of 2/7, and got… just about 16 degrees. (Who says you never use math in your everyday life?) Perfect! The only issue I saw ahead of time is that the AV40s have a larger footprint than these stands. That actually has not proven to be an issue; the speakers dwarf the stands, but they still fit and are plenty stable. The real issue is that the stands flexed under the weight of the speakers. I read “Solid aluminum structure” under the list of features and figured they’d be pretty sturdy. The fact that they flexed a little bit means that the speakers are not propped up at the full 16 degrees, so they’re angled just a little bit lower than I’d like. But, I was able to slide them further back on my desk, and now I’m pretty close to the ideal studio monitor equilateral triangle setup. And hey, I can always slide some cardboard under the front to prop them up a bit more.Summary:* Better than blocks of styrofoam.* Nice looking, minimal, understated, and other such adjectives.* If you have larger and/or heavier speakers, they may not deliver on the 16 degree angle advertised.

Pairs very nicely with Kanto YU2
Pairs very well with the Kanto YU2 speakers. Helps prevent any vibration from the speakers resting directly on a desk, also adds to the aesthetic appeal. I recommend this.

Bought these stands for my Audioengine A2+ desktop speakers which had been setup on sorbothane isolation feet for two years. These stands do an equally great job of decoupling the speaker from the desk and the 4cm upward tilt makes a significant audible improvement to this near field setup!Desktop sound stage perfection👌🏻Well crafted and made out of nice thick steel, these pair perfectly with the clean lines of the Audioengine A2+ speakers. The foam spacers isolate nicely but also allow the speaker stands to glide and reposition easily which I found to be a surprisingly nice bonus feature.Pricy for what they are but an excellent stand that I’d highly recommend. Mine came from a newer batch that no longer ship with the pointless drawstring bag (well done Kanto👍🏻).

Pricey but with superb build quality. Love all the foam padding on top and at the bottom of the stand. Using it for my AudioEngine A2, perfect fit.
