I did my research, Chose this device, I am happy and this is why!
Wow, just wow. Before purchasing this sound bar I did extensive research trying to balance budget and quality and boy did I make the right choice. If I wasn’t on such a tight budget I would buy another one for my living room as this sounds much better than my older stereo system 7.1 with a receiver.Installation:Setup was simple and easy. When assessing whether I purchase something or not I also go to the negative reviews to see if there are any negatives I need to know about, I disagree with the people who had issues setting up their system . They either just don’t know what they are doing or their equipment wasn’t very compatible, I guess. If you have 2 brain cells you should be able to set this up. They have a quick set-up guide and a more detailed guide. You just have to place the speakers where you want them and plug them into a power outlet. The system paired up with the speakers automatically. Batta Bing Batta Boom. I used this with my projector with a firestick. My Fire stick is plugged directly into the projector and is not convenient for a wire. But that is no big deal because they conveniently connect utilizing Bluetooth. Go into your Remote and Bluetooth settings on your fire stick, hit the Bluetooth button on the stereo remote and the option to select the system on the firestick pops up, click it and it is perfectly paired. So simple even a caveman can do it, except for a few people giving negative reviews on this page, apparently they are sub-cavemen I guess, lol.Performance:All I have to say is wow, just wow. I could not believe the quality of the sound. There are a few different stereo settings, pure stereo, stereo pro (my favorite), No stereo, Then there are modes you can choose, Voice which I guess enhances audio for those have issues hearing voices over the sounds, AI (not sure what it does), Night Mode or 1 other one that slip my mind at the moment. Anyways, just play with them until you find your preferred setting. Night mode is nice because it lowers the bass and makes the sound more quiet and less disturbing to people that may be sleeping as well as your ears getting more sensitive at night. The settings are more than enough for most people.Volume:I made a separate section for volume because Holy carap this thing is loud. If you even pump this bad boy up to about 35 it is on the brink of being too loud and possibly disturbing to your neighbors depending on your living arrangements. If you turn it up to max you just might lose your hearing permanently, this thing is incredibly loud and sufficient for even the most abusive of volume for those people that want to torture themselves or their neighbors. You blast this near max, you might be getting a visit from the police and a wife that will yell at you to turn it down, you nut! lol.Overall for the value and quality of the equipment (the speakers are not cheaply put together, quality is evident) and sound you can’t go wrong with this device, especially if you are trying to not to break the bank. So let me help you down off the fence, buy this especially if you can snatch it up for $300 or less, your research is over.

Meh!
Not sure if it’s the sound bar or TV but they don’t play well together. Sound from sound bar is good for just being a sound bar, subwoofer and 2 satellite speakers. Would recommend but with the caviot that it might not work well with your tv.

The sound quality is absolutely incredible!
I recently purchased the Hisense AX5140Q 5.1.4 channel soundbar, and I couldn’t be happier with it. Setup was super easy right out of the box — everything was clearly labeled, and it connected to my TV with no hassle. The sound quality is absolutely incredible for the price. The Dolby Atmos and DTS:X really make movies and music come alive — you can actually feel the sound moving around the room. The bass from the subwoofer is deep and punchy without being overwhelming, and the rear speakers add a true surround experience that fills the space perfectly.Overall, this soundbar delivers premium performance at a great price point. Hisense really nailed it with this one I highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their home theater system!

This soundbar seriously completes the setup!
I recently added the Hisense AX5140Q Soundbar to pair with my TV—and wow, it was the missing piece! We’re big on movie nights and gaming marathons in our house, and this soundbar instantly leveled up both experiences!Setup was super simple. It connected quickly via HDMI eARC, and the sound kicked in right away—no messing around with settings or complicated menus. The sleek design fits perfectly under my TV and looks sharp without taking up too much space. Now let’s talk sound: I purchased this model to take advantage of Dolby Atmos; and with 5.1.4 channels, it creates a full surround sound experience that makes you feel like you’re right in the middle of the action. The sound is amazing; you can actually hear sound coming from above and around you. Explosions rumble, dialogue is crystal clear, and background effects make you feel like you’re right in the action! The wireless subwoofer adds a deep bass that you can feel in your chest. I also love the presets—you can switch between Movie, Music, News, and Night modes depending on what you’re watching. And the Bluetooth connection makes it super easy to stream music from my phone when we’re just hanging out.If you’re looking to unlock the full potential of your TV; this soundbar is a no-brainer. It’s powerful, easy to use, and makes everything sound amazing. I’m seriously impressed!

Nice unit and easy setup but lacks any sound, junk
No sound at all !Roku said no problem, ” I recognize the Hisense” setup is automatic Then “all set up and ready” still no sound! Tried suggested troubleshooting, still no sound! Did chat support through Amazon menu link and they wanted a $48/mo subscription to talk to a tech, screw that ! Returning…So who pays for my 4 hours trying to fix? And 2 hour repacking and returning. Not so happy with Amazon or Hisense lack of QC.Should mention I used same hookup and cables on another soundboard and it worked fine.

Everything works great. I connected via eARC, there are no delays, I tested it on different 5.1 and Dolby Atmos content. Surprisingly, the panel in the control key area is very hot. It fits perfectly with my Hisense U8K TV, but the TV is 2 years old and there is still no Hi-concerto software feature. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase…

This was really easy to hook up and get music going on. The sound quality from the main sound bar is pretty good. I’ve only tried it with music as I have a fairly high end 5.1 surround sound system for my TV. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the quality of the rear speakers. The sound almost sounded a bit tinny for me, so I didn’t use them. For an inexpensive surround sound for your TV they’d be fine, but if you’re used to higher end sound, they won’t sound amaing for music.

Context: our household has several HDTVs of different brands (Sony, Samsung, HiSense) and soundbars from Bose and Yamaha. We also used to have very high end reference audio system that was our “gold standard” for audio clarity. Most TVs have such anemic built-in speakers that you practically need to use an external soundbar at the very least, or a full 5.1 surround system at best. Our reference system (NHT SuperZeros, for the record) is so good at stereo imaging we found we didn’t need rear speakers at all – they projected room filling sound. However, they also required wires and an external amp/control head so this complicated the whole system. In lieu of that, we found that a good 2.1 or 5.1 system filled in for the muddy audio that comes from most HDTV built-in speakers. This HiSense system goes further, adding not only the soundbar and sub but wireless rear speakers for room-filling surround. In use: we found the HDMI eARC produced the best result – the TV correctly interfaces with the soundbar which acts as the “hub” for the sub and rear speakers and allows for the TV remote to control the volume – we largely don’t use the remote that came with the surround system anymore. In our experience, audio syncs well with the TV – despite being wireless, so signs of latency/delay. Main channels are crisp and clear, making what would be muddy dialog from the TV speakers pop – no more need for sub-titles while watching films – without being blisteringly boosted like, say, Bose separates. The sub isn’t super large so don’t expect THX-level boom but, frankly, we don’t want to wake up our neighbours so this is fine – it fills in the low-end where the soundbar falls off.Rear speakers are best used to “fill in” surround – keep them dialled down so they don’t distract from the front sound-stage. A nicety: the power cable routes from the bottom and there’s a standard mounting hole on the back so you can mount them high on the wall. This is ideal for getting a room filling, not “in your ear” surround.Overall, really great experience that integrates well and offers good value in a wireless 5.1 system.

I don’t know what people are talking about with negative reviews. This set is awesome. The quality is great. I got the 5.1.4 channel. It reminds me of another one I got which was about $1000 more from a big brand starting with B.The top highlights of the set are the soundbar itself and the wireless rear speakers.I ended up passing it along to another user and he was EXTREMELY pleased with it!So it’s not just me who thinks this set is awesome. No complaints all around.IF you have a problem I feel it might be a one-off and you may wish to get an exchange, because everything was perfect with mine.

This was super easy to set up and connect to my Hisense TV. It sounds great, really adding to the ‘theatre’ experience. The wireless/bluetooth connection makes the set-up easy and quick.
