really good humidifier
I bought the Dreo 6L humidifier for my bedroom, and honestly it’s been a solid upgrade. It holds a ton of water, so I’m not refilling it every five minutes — the 60-hour runtime is pretty much spot-on. The warm and cool mist options are super handy depending on how the room feels, and it puts out enough mist to handle a larger space without working hard.It’s surprisingly quiet too. I run it at night and forget it’s even on. The smart controls are simple, not over-complicated, and the whole unit is easy to clean.

PURCHASE ISSUE UPDATESep 9, 2024.I am updating my original review from 1 STAR to 5 STARS…due to being contacted directly by a DREO representative.I was contacted by phone by a very pleasant and professional Dreo agent, Jane, who wanted to duscuss my humidifier purchase issue listed below. Jane was very extremely courteous and helpful. She was very concerned about the poor customer experience I had when I originally called them in Aug after I received my 713S Smart Humidifier which failed. Jane asked me to provide her with appropriate documentation and photos of my purchase via email which I did.I was contacted again same day and was offered a replacement unit. This is exceptional customer service. I communicated with at least three different people this time via email and phone within 48 hours and all were very responsive. It appears the DREO company wants to ensure they provide the highest quality products to their customers … And excellent customer support!Original Review Below:I purchased this Smart 713s Dreo humidifier Aug 2024. After reading dozens of reviews in all of the 500 plus reviews about this humidifier and the “excellent customer support” they have been provided by Dreo with replacements, it seems that everyone who mentioned the “customer support Representative’s name” ,…. I noticed her name was CAROL in every review!I had to call DREO for support the same day I received my 713S humidifier Aug 2024! It connected to my existing Dreo app beautifully. But on plugging it in… The Humidifier immediately Presented a E3 error code message on the display! But Vapor flowed immediately … No problem. But The display wouldn’t even work except for the E3 error code. No Display at all! I looked for that E3 error code for two and a half hours and was never able to find what the meaning of that error code was anywhere. So please be forewarned…. That E3 message for this make and model is not anywhere on the internet, nor is it in their manual or any DREO documentation.So I resorted to calling.. customer support. On speaking with a customer support agent, she put me through a lengthy “take apart the whole humidifier process”…. AFTER… I had told her I received the E3 error code!! Very frustrating! She put me on hold for at least 10 minutes, and came back on the line and Simply told me that since I bought it at Amazon, it would probably be quicker to call Amazon and have them replace it, than to have their company DREO replace it because it would take 7 to 10 days for shipping.So I had to ask her what does the E3 error code mean?? After asking yet twice again, she told me that E3 code meant a “HEATING ELEMENT FAILURE “. I told her those error codes are nowhere to be found in the DREO documentation or on the website, and I had spent several hours trying to fix the unit looking for the code . She apologized… and said again it was best to call Amazon. I was pretty frustrated.BTW…. I purchased 2 DREO smart air circulators in the last 3 months from Amazon and they work great! And no problems with the app at all. Love those 2 super quiet fans!!But I was very unhappy that DREO did not attempt to rectify their product failure!

Great humidifier, efficient and very easy to fill.
This is a great humidifier. We live in Colorado, which is very dry year round, so we’ve owned several humidifiers. They’ve all worked well, but filling them is an absolute pain. This humidifier is easy to fill, it has a removable panel on the top, you just lift it off and use a jug to fill it. Or you can lift the entire tank off and fill it in the sink. I prefer to use a jug because I have back issues.The humidifier provides warm or cool vapor, and both are very effective in raising the humidity of our kitchen/dining room/lounge great room by 10%, which is pretty amazing considering how dry it is here. It’s also a very attractive item, not like the bulky white plastic of our other humidifiers.Cleaning is easy. Just remove the tank and vapor tower, then rinse them. I use the provided cleaning brush to clean the base, empty it and rinse. Reassemble, fill, and wipe the exterior with a soft cloth. Ten minutes at the max, if I was interrupted halfway through.The app is very handy to set schedules and provide cleaning reminders. We also have the mineral filter, and the app does remind when to change it. Just remember to reset the reminders! It’s a push of a button, but easy to forget.Speaking of the mineral filter: I ran the humidifier without a filter, and it produced a fine white mineral coating on the humidifier and the counter top. Not a huge deal, easy to wipe up, but we have very hard water so it was quite a lot. With the filter there’s no white coating. So, for people in hard water areas the filters might be a good idea.Seriously, I love this device.

I purchased two of these and I am mostly super happy with them. The settings are highly customizable. The app is wonderful and easy to use. The design is sleek and to clean. One of the units runs flawlessly. The second makes a godawful noise every few minutes that sounds like someone snoring. I have no idea what it is or how to stop it but it is frustrating at night. I assume that it’s a fluke but definitely worth mentioning for those who are concerned with noise. It’s bothersome enough that I turn it off at night when it needs to run the most.

If you are looking for a high-end humidifier, this is the one.It humidifies a large bedroom with a vaulted ceiling with no problem.It has an adjustable humidity setting, cool or warm, and can run up to 12 hours without a refill.Also has a wi-fi app to control with your phone.

Very impressed
It’s been a long time since I bought a humidifier. They have come a long way. Although I’ve only had this one for a month the performance is remarkable. It has a large reservoir and will run 8 to 10 hours on a full fill. The entire reservoir lifts out, and you can easily fill it. It makes no noise and you can customize the lighting on the front. I can tell a huge difference between when I use it and when I don’t, especially since we’ve had to start running the furnace. I rarely get five star reviews, and I may change it in a few more months, but for now I am extremely satisfied.

I like the warm mist feature. Has different modes to choose from. I like the auto-mode because it will adjust the mist speed according to the humidity in the air in your room. The big water tank can hold 6 liters water and it can last up to 2 days. It has top fill for easy refilling. This humidifier is easy to clean. Thumbs up for Dreo! 👍👍👍
