Solid Baby Monitor with Excellent View and Some Room for Improvement
My husband and I have been testing out this Dr. Care baby monitor in our playroom until we (hopefully soon!) have a new little one to use it for. Overall, it has some fantastic features, but there are a few areas that could use improvement.In terms of hardware, we both wish the power cord was longer. To get the best view of the room, we like to mount the camera higher, but the short cord limits our placement options. My husband, who handled the installation, also mentioned he would have liked a hole or slot in the mounting bracket to better route the cord, rather than having to squeeze it out the side.Setup and registration online were straightforward and easy, but we ran into a few quirks with the app. If you’re using an iPad, the keyboard actually covers the “Submit” button on the login screen. The only workaround we found was to fill in the information, click “Forgot Password,” then close that pop-up — which makes the keyboard go away so you can hit “Submit.” A bit clunky, but it works.We also had trouble when trying to share our feed with a grandparent. Once she joined our “home,” she couldn’t switch between her default “My Home” and ours. The fix was to delete her default home entirely — not difficult, but definitely not intuitive.As for the physical monitor, it takes a few seconds to power on and connect, which is noticeable in our instant-gratification world. In the mornings, it sometimes disconnects right after loading and needs a quick reconnect. And with motion tracking enabled, the sound of the camera adjusting is quite loud through the monitor — likely because it moves quickly to follow motion.Now for the positives — and they’re big ones. The picture quality is phenomenal. It’s crisp, detailed, and clear in both day and night mode, far beyond the baby monitor we bought over twelve years ago for our first child. The motion tracking has been great for keeping an eye on my very active 3-year-old during independent playtime. The cry and motion detection will be wonderful once this becomes a nursery again.Overall, the camera and system perform beautifully once set up. The image quality, tracking, and thoughtful features really stand out. I just wish sharing access and a few app design choices were simpler.

I really enjoy this camera and I think it is a great product. Here are the reasons for a solid five star:1: it is well packaged and arrived quickly! Didn’t have any damages during the shipment.2: I love there are two options that you can set up this camera. You can just put it on the table or you can even hook it up onto your wall or ceiling. It is great there are options provided to suit different scenarios.3: I also love there are two ways to access the camera. The one monitor that comes with the camera is nice and clear. It is easy to use, large screen and well made. You can also download an app to access the camera that way. The app allows you to view the camera anywhere you want.4: the app was easy to set up, the WiFi works great and the instructions are clear and easy to follow.5: even without the WiFi, it has a long range and it definitely is enough for me.6: I love it also comes with nightlight and white noise for the baby if needed. Easy to operate it and turn it on and off.7: it also shows you the temperature of the room, and has motion and cry detectors.8: you can even set alarm and feeding schedule.9: you can change the camera angle using the app or the monitor as well.I just absolutely love this camera set and it is the best I have ever owned so far since I have tried out several kinds before. It has a lot to offer and all works well! I think it’s a great value and I highly recommend it!

Absolute Game Changer for Peace of Mind!
This monitor has been an absolute godsend for our family. Even though our little one is 8 now, we still like to keep an eye on her at night — mainly to make sure her room stays warm enough, that she’s okay, and for an overall sense of security when we hear things around the house. It does all of that and more!It was incredibly easy to set up right out of the box, and the included cord is a generous length, which we really appreciate. The unit itself feels durable and well-made, and the video quality is fantastic — crisp and clear. I love that it shows the humidity and temperature of her room so we always know she’s comfortable.Our daughter actually feels more secure knowing we can see her. If she thinks we’re not watching, she’ll walk up to the camera to make sure we can hear her — it’s become part of her nighttime routine! The cry and motion alerts work perfectly, and the night vision is so clear that we never have to worry.The battery life on the handheld unit is okay — we’ve had some monitors that lasted longer — but it charges up very quickly, which more than makes up for it.All in all, this little monitor is amazing. It gives us peace of mind, keeps her feeling safe, and makes nighttime so much easier. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

This is an excellent system. We are using it for a senior who has Alzheimer’s. So impressed with easy set up and motion sensory. Very pleased and highly recommend. Also think it should be called Senior and Baby monitor So get medical coverage to pay for it.
