Great sound
Great sound, simple setup and contrary to what some other reviewers have written, you can actually use this with a non-Bose subwoofer if you use a cable connection and it works just fine with my old Sony sub. Alexa is a nice bonus. The HDMI ARC port on my LG OLED TV apparently has failed which resulted in my old amplifier/speaker setup no longer working, which is the reason I ordered this. The HDMI connection didn’t work with the Bose soundbar either, but the optical connection works fine.

Love these soundbars! Perfect if you’re not addicted to heavy bass. Shipped very fast and sounds even better than my old one from a few years ago.

WOW! Once again Bose has another winner! Very well made.Although the one thing I have an issue with is the Remote, it seems like I e it’s cheaply made and won’t last long (I could be wrong)

BUYER BEWARE: IT WILL TURN INTO A USELESS BRICK
Bought this, a matching subwoofer, and two rear surround speakers hoping it would work as well as my old Bose entertainment system. I must say that I am deeply disappointed in the quality of the sound and the connectivity issues. Right out of the box, the remote control was half disassembled (the face fell right off). After six months, I’d have to power it down, disconnect, and reconnect it just to get the HDMI-ARC to work. Then, right immediately after 12 months, it stopped working completely. Now it is stuck in firmware update mode. Went to the Bose website and no luck there. Tried everything I found online about how to reset, update firmware, reset network, etc. Found out that it had turned itself into a useless brick. There is no support for this either. I’ve been stuck on hold from Bose for over 20 minutes as if my time does not matter.Ease of Installation: 1 star because the ports in the back are just too close to the wall. Modify or get different mounts.Sound Quality: 2 stars because the sound quality of the soundbar itself is nothing to write home aboutConnectivity: 0 stars because it does not stay connected using HDMI-ARC (and yes, I have the right cables)Quality: 0 stars because it is again, a brick.Overall rating: 0 stars because it has been a complete waste of my time, effort, and money. It is, after all, just a brick.

You can’t go wrong
Really great sound. I compared it against 3 other soundbars and it excelled above 2 of them. Easy set up. Had issues with it randomly disconnecting from Air Play. And it struggled to reconnect to the TV after using Air Play. If not for connectivity I would have kept it. Ended up with a Sennheiser.

This soundbar is excellent
This soundbar is excellent. I love that it has top-facing speaker grilles, which allow the sound to project upward. Other, more expensive bars often have a glass surface on top, which limits vertical sound projection. With this one, sound flows forward, sideways, upward, and backward—creating a fully immersive experience.I later added the Bose Bass Module 500 via wired connection, and the improvement in low-end response was immediate. However, even without the subwoofer, the soundbar performs very well when watching Dolby Atmos content.Using your TV’s eARC port is key. In my setup, I connected the Apple TV to HDMI 1 and the soundbar to HDMI 2 (eARC) on my 70” LG QNED TV. Proper configuration avoids annoying black screen flickers while the system negotiates the audio format. I recommend disabling Apple TV’s automatic frame rate and dynamic range switching, and on the LG TV, setting the audio output to “passthrough” instead of “auto.”Finally, adding the Bose Surround Speakers 300 (also applies to the 700s) takes the system to a whole new level. In my large, closed room, you can truly feel effects surround you—like a bullet whizzing past your right ear. Just amazing.

Great Soundbar 👍 for those people who are considering buying one. Bose reputation for high-end products that perform as advertised. Quality is very good 👍. 📺 TV speakers 🔊 are minimal at best and sound terrible. After receiving and setup my decision was the best one. Bluetooth setup was definitely a pain but succed I did. Wow what a difference it made listening to dialog with clarity 👏. I would recommend it to a friend.

Buying Bose speaker online was a risk but it was worth it. The delivery was efficient and the product has just changes the sound of the tv audio to make it sound so much better and of crisp quality. It just elevated the whole viewing experience.
