The other thing I really like about this camera is it just does a fantastic job at tracking everything.
I have this in our front yard, when one of my boys or myself is walking in front of the yard, it will track us wherever we go. I installed this camera so that we have visibility into our front yard and the street. It does capture the people walking by and it’s nice to have that extra security.

The 3K video quality was also really good on here. Images were nicely exposed and clear, easy to make out details.
When it comes to night vision video, you do have the option to set it to color night vision, black and white night vision, or you can set the camera to just intelligently feel the sight, I do like having it on the color night vision because the spotlight is so bright at 400 lumens.

Exelent sevurity camera-clear video & easy set up
Here’s a good securityI am very satisfied with this security camera. The image quality is very clear, both during the day and at night, and the audio works perfectly. The installation was quick and easy, and the mobile app is very user-friendly.I really like that it sends real-time notifications when motion is detected, which gives me peace of mind. The connection is stable, and so far I haven’t had any issues.I definitely recommend it for home or business use. Great value for the price.

Great products and customer service!
This is a great camera. Installation and set up were a breeze. Easy to customize for individual needs to minimize unnecessary notifications, through the app. Everything is very intuitive. The videos are clear and smooth, and the camera tracks motion accurately. The external solar array was also easy to install and point for optimal charging. Batteries stay at or near 100%. The only issue I had was the waterproof plug that protects the USB plug seems to have shrunk over time and doesn’t stay in place. I don’t recall if it was loose or easy to install originally but now it doesn’t stay in place at all. However, I contacted customer service and they immediately addressed the issue! Their customer service is excellent. I highly recommend their devices.

Solid Semi Off-Grid Cam with Great Video
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this up in May after finding out Google Nest will no longer be supported (which I dropped way too much money on a few years back). A friend of mine had a few AOSU cameras and liked them, so I figured I’d give it a go. Ended up grabbing four different models to try them out, including this 360 cam with the separate solar panel.First off, the camera quality is great. The picture looks crisp, even at night, and the built-in light is super bright when it kicks on. It also has solid night vision if you want to run it dark. Motion tracking works too, though it’s maybe a bit too sensitive sometimes. I get alerts from bugs and cars on the road that are nowhere near my actual driveway. I kind of miss how Nest let me highlight zones to manage stuff like that. As far as I can tell, this camera doesn’t do that yet (unless it is only included in the subscription).One thing I like a lot is the fact it records to a microSD card (I ordered a 128GB SD separately). It only uses Wi-Fi when I check the live feed, so it doesn’t choke up the network like Nest cams always seemed to. And even though AOSU makes it sound like you have to subscribe to their cloud service, that’s not true. I skipped the subscription and haven’t lost a single feature that I’ve noticed. Just be aware, if you do go the cloud route, it’s charged per device, which adds up real quick. I think it was like $7 a month for each camera or $27/month for a 5-device plan. Personally, not worth it.I specifically wanted this camera to mount on the north side of my chicken coop, but still face the solar panel to the south. The separate solar setup worked perfect for that. It gave me enough cable to run the panel about 8 feet away and still had about a foot left over to bundle. The camera itself has a little 18-inch pigtail that connects to the solar cord, which was nice. It’s about 50 yards from my Wi-Fi router and I’ve had zero signal issues so far.It’s not perfect, but it’s been reliable, sharp-looking, and fits my needs. I’d say 4 stars mainly because the motion alert setup could use some improvement and that subscription pricing is kinda wild. But for the price, especially if you catch it on sale, it’s a win.

I bought my first AOSU device here on Amazon a couple of years ago after doing a lot of research looking for a doorbell that didn’t have monthly charges connected to it. Since then I have added cameras both outside and inside the house. I bought this camera for a specific area watching the dogs and a view of the patio from their height. Like the rest of their devices, this one doesn’t disappoint. I love that I don’t have to pay monthly fees! They do have a subscription plan which offers different AI features including facial recognition, animal alerts, motion in a certain area such as someone jumping a fence etc which I do use for my doorbell but for the rest of my cameras I just use the local recording using microSD card in the device. Battery lasts a long time which you can charge using the solar panel included or a USB-C power bank. The app is really good, intuitive, with lots of great options and choices for notifications. You can check events as they happen or go through them whenever you would like going as far back as your memory card will allow. It’s easy to pull video and pictures off and share them. I like to recommend this company, such great hardware and no expensive monthly fees.

Happy with the product. Quality is good and features are good.Only issue I have had is it misses a passing person a lot. Like mail gets delivered 2 times a week and mailman wears bright safety vest but camera always misses him and sometimes records when he’s leaving from back. So could use work on movement detection a bit.Overall very easy to setup. Software and features are awesome and easy to understand and setup.I needed something with solar to avoid wiring headache and like this for free app access and on camera storage.Doesn’t record 24/7 fyi. It only records when motion is detected.Am sharing night video recorded by infrared lights. Day quality is much better than this.

The camera is good, picture is very good. The tracking works as it should for vertical and horizontal movement. Night vision is quite concentrated at center and looses image at sides, but that’s when the tracking is good. Easy installation, and solar panel works very good, and being separate from camera is a plus for under eves camera mounting. Battery is at 100% always. My only complaint, and loss of 2 stars is the subscription. More than half of the cameras options and settings are only available if you subscribe to the cloud service. It is also a US dollar only subscription. That’s a total ripoff, which is not mentioned in the sales page. I may return for this reason alone.
