Easy setup and reliable – Recommended
I’ve always trusted the Annkee brand but have tried many others, this model was easy to setup, sends alerts, easy to configure motion and very versatile. I have 3 separate addresses connected to the app and it’s easy to view any location.

For the price it is a very good deal
I think this is a very good deal for someone who just want to keep an eye on their property while they’re away.The quality is 960P which is quite decent to capture surroundings. However, you’ll be disappointed if you’re getting this hoping that it’ll capture license plates of every cars at far distance.The motion detection is good and night vision is also good.The DVR has many features that you can adjust like motion detection zone, masks, recordings,…The Annke Vision App is intuitive and easy to use but some improvement can be made: Make it so that the app has more controls like the DVR; have ‘scenes’ like other smart home apps;…THIS IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE: the difference between a 4CH, 8CH and 16CH is the quality of recorded videos. I figured this out because I bought a 4CH and upgrade to an 8CH. This is not mentioned here on Amazon but mentioned on their website.The 4CH gives you more video quality over the 8CH and 16CH. You can record 960p 30fps for all cameras which is a huge difference compare to 960p 12fps on the 8CH and 16CH. Also if I remember correctly, the 4CH also allows you to change the quality of recorded videos to “best quality” whereas you’re stuck with “normal” for the other 2 which is a little bump in video quality aswell.SO, basically if you go with 4CH you’ll get quality over quantity and vice versa if you go for the 8CH or 16CH. Just something to keep in mind if you’re deciding wether to get a 4CH or higher.

Annke makes very good reliable equipment
This review is for ANNKE 8CH 5MP Lite Wired Security Camera System, H.265+…I have bought a couple of these systems. One for a neighbor. It has served well on a couple of neighborhood incidents. One involved a shooting (no one was hurt). The cameras captured the incident and the police asked for a copy of the videos which I gave them. One officer commented that this system is better than nearly all of them he has seen. This has been running fine 24/7 for years with no failures thus far. Annke makes many systems and many cameras. Higher end cameras, like full color night vision and PTZ are available as add-ons to the basic system. Annke support is fast and reliable. You can find details on the Annke website and answers to any questions. They stay on any issue until it is solved.This is my honest review, for which I received no compensation nor would I accept same.-Jim

Excellent value
Normally I don’t write reviews but if product goes way beyond my expectations then it deserves it . I have 8 channel dvr by GW purchased at $799 vs anneke at fraction of price. Picture quality , user friendly , features , almost identical. Customer service via email is prompt and to the point . installed 2 of 8 channel at my 2 shops . I looked at all systems in market , this is the best of best value u can get .

Very poor security camera cannot record unless you get the hard drive no audio so you can’t hear anything that’s separate. You gotta buy that separate. It is a very poor design. I wouldn’t buy it again.

This Camera sytem is better than I expetcted.1. This system include almost all your need for a secutity camera system, you just need buy a Hard disk drive.2. All the cameras can be adjusted easily. You can easily get the best angle and fix it.3. App is easily to install.4. The viedos are clear.I also have some issues when I install this system1. I install the App easily, but I can’t add the DVR at first. It’s status always is “offline”. I rebooted the DVR and add DVR again, then it worked.2. When I using the App, I saw the video is not clear enough. After I change the view form Basic to HD, it turned better resolution.Anyway, this system is a good choice for your home security.

poor instructions/ no hard drive installed
i like the cameras, decent resolution, , easy hooking them up and priced great but i should have read the description much more closely!! NO HDD ( no hard disc drive ) they will not record until you add a hard drive !! the description is accurate but i wish it was made more clear and i would have made a different choice
