Is this charging pad compatible with Android phones?
Not compatible with Android. The charging pad is designed for devices with magnetic wireless charging, available only in iPhone 12 and later models. For optimal Qi2 15W charging, the device must be an iPhone 12 or newer, running on iOS 17.2 or later.
Can a phone case affect wireless charging?
For better wireless charging, remove your phone case before placing it on the charger. If needed, use Apple’s official magnetic case. Avoid cases thicker than 2.5 mm or those without magnetic alignment, as they may reduce charging efficiency.
Is the product safe to use when it gets warm/hot?
We recommend avoiding charging while using the device. It’s normal for wireless chargers to warm up slightly during use. This product meets international safety standards for safe operation.
Does MagGo Magnetic Wireless Charger (Pad) come with a USB-C wall charger?
Please note that a USB-C wall charger is not included with the purchase of MagGo Magnetic Wireless Charger (Pad). For the best charging experience, we recommend using a Power Delivery (PD) compatible wall charger with an output of 20W or higher.
Can I use my laptop to power this wireless charging pad?
It’s not recommended. Most USB-C ports on laptops provide limited power output, which may not be enough for proper wireless charging.

Solid connection with a solid charger
Works great. It’s my first magnetic charger. I’ve had the standard Qi wireless chargers and they are ok. But especially with my new OnePlus 13 I have struggled to get those old chargers lined up correctly with the phones.With this it snaps right to the magnetic case with no problem. And it holds STRONG. I can hold the phone by grabbing the cable coming off the Anker magnetic charger. It probably won’t accidentally come off your phone.It charges at a standard 15w rate which is perfectly fine for overnight charging. And while I would love to find a magnetic charger that supports the full 50w wireless charging, I also don’t want to pay an arm and a leg and I generally don’t need those speeds.I’m also stoked that I get two chargers in the box.

I’ve only tried 1 of the 2 units in the pack so that saidWorks through my defender otterbox case. Stays on sturdy. It seems fast. Like normal fast not the slow charge. And yeah I can pick up my phone and use it still attached. I’ll put one where I stick around and one for bedside as it’s too easy to knock off the other one.Will order another for when I go visit the other house. Oh wow. Even a great idea for car chargingTotally worth it. Using with iPhone 16 proNow I wish the iPad could get the same treatment

Furthermore, older phone models that require a metal ring accessory may experience increased heat, as may the phone itself. This was verified with a Samsung S24.A recent charging test of a Fold 7, utilizing a Baseus 100W smart charger, yielded satisfactory results, with no observable heat issues.For travel purposes, the use of fast chargers and USB-C cables is advised. Wireless charging is best suited for stationary environments. It is recommended to leverage the benefits of fast and safe charging for your device.

Awesome value. The big plus with this charger is that it doesn’t take up extra space on the back of your phone. I noticed that my other magsafe chargers are kind of large, so they actually will hit the camera bump and then not really connct with the phone, which is super annoying. This one is super small and compact so it takes up just what’s needed and nothing else.Quality feels really robust, and the included velcro strap helps organize the cable. I have only been using this to charge my phone for the last few weeks and it’s been perfect. It charges quickly and no headaches, attaches strongly to my iphone.Photo shows how the dead space on my apple one are removed in the anker one. Great quality, compatible with my iphone, super easy to use, and reliable. what else could you ask for?

It’s OK
I won’t pretend to know much about wireless chargers so this review is more of a comparison between this charger and another one I bought for work.First, I don’t quick charge unless I absolutely have to. This charger charges my phone, but it puts out some heat too. That’s normal from what I hear and after charging for a bit, both the charger and my phone get fairly warm. Is it an acceptable temperature? I don’t know. It’s not going to give you a contact burn or anything but considering the other charger I bought does the same job and stays cool as well with no fan, same wattage. It was less expensive than the Zolo too.Second, why cant we just put a USB C plug into the charger? Oh, so if the cable has problems we just buy a new charger.Look, this isn’t a bad charger, it might be better than I know but I dropped a star due to the temperature comparison of a cheaper charger and another due to the fact of having a permanent cord, which yes, the less expensive charger has a USB C port.Update: Anker Direct contacted me about the concerns I had about the heat I was getting. Thank you AD, they obviously do read reviews, still a five star seller. Anyways, whatever the problem was isn’t really a problem anymore. Something seemed to settle in and now it gets a little warm but much less than before. I won’t speculate what happened, but I’ll be keeping this; I know others have been concerned about the heat also. It still seems a little on the slower side for charging speed but as long as my phone isn’t getting baked, I’m fine with it. I use it with a Samsung S25+ and a MagSafe case which should have no problems with Qi2 but maybe having a case is where some of us might be having problems. The phone does stop charging when it’s supposed to but I don’t have to unplug the charger to reset it or anything like some reviews have noted.
