Fantastic LED light panel set. Easy, fun and works!
I have a serious problem with smart lights. I have them everywhere in my home, inside and out. I’ve looked at options similar to these from some of the bigger brands for a while but couldn’t justify the price. These are FANTASTIC!! So much so that I ordered a second set after unboxing and turning the first set on.Set up is very simple. Each hexagon has one outgoing power and 5 power in ports. This makes it very easy to make the design to your personal preference. The power wire is plenty long and is connected by USB making it extra convenient. Each individual panel is very light weight making it easy to secure to whatever surface you like with the included double sided tape. As I already stated, I ordered another set right away and the second set will plug directly into the first seamlessly.An underrated feature is there are 3 different ways to control the lights. This is fantastic and makes this very user friendly. The inline control works very well and is great for those who just want to keep it simple. The remote does all the same but makes the customization a bit more simple. But for me it’s all about the app. It allows you to see all the different pre created scenes as well as creating your own custom scenes. The ONLY drawback is it’s not connected by WIFI and not able to work with Alexa or Google Home. But the Bluetooth connection works very well.There are “better” options on the market. But they are SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive. The value with this light set is exceptional. They work wonderfully, they look fantastic. Again, I already bought a second set.

Picked these up for my daughter to help itch the “rgb everything!” Stage she’s currently in. They didn’t disappoint. She’s really happy with them they work great, easy to install and use and her room is looking more like a club in candyland everyday!

Incredibly versatile and customisable RGBW lights — just make sure they have enough power!
I’m not going to lie; I was very upset when I first received this. The package was partially opened, and with a 5v 2a charger block, only the controls worked (no lights). I state this because the manual says that it needs a minimum of 5V 2A. It did not come with batteries for the remote, which is fine, but I got frustrated testing to see if it was the remote, the controls, or the lights themselves, that were the issue.I thought I received a dud product until I used a 6.5V 3A power block instead, so keep in mind the minimum power requirements. Once I finally gave it enough juice, though? I had way more fun than I expected to playing around with these little hexagon panels.You can download the MeRGBW app, but I prefer not to have a million different apps for separate smart devices. I did download and test the app; it doesn’t require a registration, at least. It was very easy to connect via bluetooth. While playing around in the app, I noticed that the colors selected were not very accurate to the selections I made on the color wheel. I fairly quickly abandoned the app in favor of testing the included presets on the physical remote.I ran through all of the included color presets, which are all visually appealing. I had the most fun with the music-sync mode, though it seemed not to pick up sounds as well in higher frequencies as it did in the lower and mid ranges. It includes a microphone to pick up on the sound, so it will also sync to voices. Unfortunately, Amazon is giving an error when I try to upload the video of the sound-sync test, so you’ll have to take my word for it that it’s pretty! :)If you use Home Assistant, there is a custom integration for these called “MeRGBW Hexagon BT” that you can use to control these lights instead. Additionally, there are other Home Assistant integrations that pair easily with these hex lights so you can fine-tune the control you have over the lights!I plan to use them for indicators in my home (i.e. change light color when washer or dryer are done running, at-a-glance status updates for my server, or geolocation-based indicators of who is at home) and am very pleased with how easily you can customize these guys.I wish they had used USB-C instead for the power; the USB-A power cord is large and clunky, making it difficult to hide.

Bright Enough, Easy Setup, and a Great Accent for Any Office
These hexagon LED panels work exactly as expected and make a great visual upgrade for an office or gaming space. Setup was simple just stick them up, plug them in, and pair them through the app. The app itself works okay, not amazing, but once everything is connected the lights respond reliably.Brightness is mid-range, not blinding, which actually makes them better for background mood lighting rather than full room illumination. The music sync feature works well and adds a fun touch during gaming or listening sessions.Build quality feels solid and the lights hold their shape well. Once they’re up and running, they look fantastic and add a clean, modern aesthetic without being overpowering. Great value and a nice decor piece for any workspace or bedroom.

Cool Modular Lights, But Plan Your Layout Carefully
These hexagon LED light panels are pretty cool and offer a fun way to add customizable accent lighting to a room. The RGB colors are vibrant, and the app/remote control provides a lot of options for different modes and effects.It’s important for potential buyers to be aware of the size of the individual panels (about 3.7 x 3.1 inches each). They are relatively small, which isn’t necessarily good or bad, but it means that a single pack of 8 panels won’t cover a very large area. If you’re envisioning a significant or expansive design on your wall, you will definitely need to purchase multiple sets to achieve that look.Because you might need several packs to create a larger display, these feel like an especially worthwhile purchase if you can find them during a sale or promotion. Overall, they are neat lights that work well, just be sure to consider the scale and plan accordingly if you have a big project in mind.

Works well. Very configurable. Bright but not too bright
These are pretty neat accent/mood lighting lights. You can configure them almost however you want (you’re limited by where the ports are, so you can’t for example, make a solid hexagon with 7 modes, you’d have to leave the center spot empty). But aside from that, these are really cool lights.
