Set up in on/off fixture 1st, move to lamp w/3-way switch, & set it on highest setting
So far so good! Great not having to go thru 3rd party app to control – just wish they came in a higher wattage equivalent (75w). Had to get used to adding routines to the Alexa app vs schedules in other apps, but think i have it figured out. They are bright but the fixtures i have them in have linen colored shades so that dampens things & i keep the color at warm white – cant stand daylight, cool white or sunlight – looks too office/medical environment vs home. Easy to install & connect to my home network & Alexa. Learned real quick to install first in a regular fixture for setup vs one with a 3 way switch like a lamp. They save me money because now i can free up smart plugs that used to control these fixtures for other projects. Working out well so far & will see if they turn off/on as scheduled over the next couple of days..

Amazon basics smart filament LED bulb which is bright and could change color tone.
I got the Amazon basics A19 smart filament type LED bulb for my study room. It is simple and straightforward to use, just screw the bulb in the fixture, add the device in the Alexa app and you’re good to go. What I really like about this bulb is the tunable white/yellow-orange range. I prefer to keep it to warm tone in the evening to create a cozy warm ambience and I can quickly set a cooler white color tone as well during a day using my phone. Using it with Alexa is seamless. I usually say “set brightness to x” or “turn off/on the study lights” and voila. The filament style gives it a vintage charm and it’s really interesting to watch how filament changes color/brightness. Also, it is bright enough to lit and read in the room.Caveats:1 Although, it’s A19 but it may not fit all fixtures.2 Can only turn on/off when internet is available and manually turning on-off 5 times will reset the device and have to add it again in Alexa app.3 May not work with other brands assistants.

Just as good as every amazon basics bulb out there
My whole house is made up of amazon basics bulbs but most of them are just regular bulbs that change colors and none that are an Edison style bulb as most people call it. We have a light in our kitchen that has Edison bulbs in it and I have been wanting some smart bulbs to go in it. I got this in and it is just as good as all of the other amazon basics bulbs that we have. These are super easy to install and control with your Alexa. It is also easy to connect it to your Alexa app by just having to scan the QR code in the app and it does the rest itself. It looks really good and I love the fact that you can change the brightness of a room by just telling Alexa to do it. This thing is made just as good as all of my other amazon basics bulbs so i expect it to last a long time and be just as durable. These are a great value for your money compared to many other brands out there.

These flicker really bad for me. They’ll only stop flickering at certain dimming levels, like half or full.

This is a great bulb. Easy to connect and the color/ brightness is great to switch up every now & then. I’ve been avoiding these smart bulbs because I didn’t think they’d make that much of a difference. I was wrong. They are really nice.Great replacement bulbs for the lamps that use the color change bulbs as well. If still check to make sure they’d fit but even if you’re simply using them in a house bulb socket they’re great as well. So far I haven’t encountered any issues with flickering but will keep track of how long they last to see.Overall I love how convenient they are and am regretting not switching to these earlier. For now I think I’ll stock up a couple extra just so I’ll have them on hand for later use.

Easy to Use Smart Bulb
I really like this light bulb. It’s 60W, which is perfect for the wattage in my home. The light also has a dimmer feature, which I especially love during the holidays, it creates a nice, softer, and cozier atmosphere in the living room with the Christmas tree, rather than having a bright light overpower it.I also want to add that using the Alexa app to control the light bulb is a complete game changer. The convenience and functionality of being able to adjust the brightness , turn the light on or off , and having the ability to schedule the light based on my own routine from my phone makes everyday life so much easier!
